So nice of Kat to invite us to her house, but had to turn her down as today had plans to go to BIL house. But we received news that his dog had just given birth to 5 puppies and the house is a mess so had to change it to the weekend. Actually, thought of going over but Sherry was already having her afternoon nap and we had dinner appt in the evening so we still did not go over. (so sorry lei, meow)
Quickly went to cook her porridge around 4pm and had to get everything ready by 5pm as Hubby wanted to go there early. He wanted to bring Sherry to see boat as he thought that the dinner was at Raffles Marina. But it was already close to 6pm when we left the house and the dinner place was at Raffles Country Club instead. Hahaha… Blur Daddy…
We reached there in 15 minutes time and so happened to meet everyone downstairs. After taking the family photo, we proceed to have our dinner, while Sherry has her porridge. They did not have enough baby chairs so we had to let her run about in the restaurant and luckily I’ve got so many aunties and cousins to follow her around. She had lots of fun and made everyone so happy.
After dinner, we went over to 2nd auntie’s house, stayed a little while and sent Yi back to her hostel and den headed home. Sherry was so excited and kept on talking (in her language) and only stopped when her 小姨 alighted from the car. Keke…. And then, she fell asleep when we are about to reach home… Hahaha… my little girl…

CNY 初二, lion dance @ Granny house
After breakfast, we went back to Mum’s place as planned. I was quite surprised to see Eric (Pin’s bf) there too. I’ve asked Mum to cook Sherry’s lunch so that I do not need to bring out the thermal flask.
After settling down, it was almost 12pm, quickly went to scoop a bowl of porridge for my little girl and she finished it in a while. We left for granny house around 130pm and was already late for the lion dance.
We did not expect them to be so punctual and arrive at 2pm sharp. Sherry was very fascinated at the same time, she is afraid of the loud drums but she wants to watch! My silly girl, how not to have the noise? Keke… We had stayed upstairs almost throughout the whole show. Once awhile, someone will come and asked if she wants to go down and in awhile she wants to come back.
After all these, 3rd auntie brought down some toys and she just played with them and refused to have her milk and nap. So we left around 430pm, and she managed to have her milk in the car and of cos sleep while drinking.
She was still sleeping when we were home; she had about 3 hours nap! Luckily we came back home early, all the relatives from MIL’s side had not arrived yet. Since she was very busy in the kitchen, I just stayed away from there and forgot to cook porridge for my little girl. It was good in a way; MIL had no choice but to give her some rice (keep telling me that she is too young, OMG!) Sherry enjoyed rice so much and even asked for a second helping.
I think she was still tired, and she fell asleep around 10plus when all of them went off. After helping MIL to pack a little, we all went to La La Land..

CNY 初一
As usual, BIL did not turn up to visit MIL. We waited till around 1130am and then left for the 观音庙 @ 四马路. I was very angry and was angrier when Hubby told me off! I’ve already planned to go back to Mum’s place before going to the temple @ Punggol. But all these had to change just because BIL overslept! Ridiculous!!! But since it’s the first day of the CNY, I just did not want to quarrel with him! So I just 忍 him!
After that, we went to Punggol another temple before proceeding to MIL’s youngest uncle house. We stayed there for lunch and he asked if we still want to go to Granny house, I just tell him flatly, go home! So in the end, we went back home. All of them had their rest while I was busy preparing Sherry’s porridge in the kitchen.
I’ve to bring the porridge to Felicia’s house and fed her there. Felicia was already home by the time we reached there. The 2 girls had lots of fun and Sherry refused to go back home. Arrrrgggghhh… I was so pissed off and purposely stayed back to let Sherry play some more and when he asked again, we just packed and left.

Eve of CNY
In the morning, received a bad news, Rayner has to be hospitalized due to lungs infection. So sad for Jan, poor boy, but luckily RayAnne is alright.
Nothing much, except that MIL is very busy preparing the food for the reunion dinner and I just keep clear of the kitchen.
I just accompanied my girl here and there as she keep asking for Ma-ma only, not wanting Daddy or even 奶奶.
BIL & his wife come over around 7 plus and almost immediately we start the dinner. They stayed awhile and leave around 10plus and by then Sherry was already in La La Land.

We thought… (no half day.. sob)
When we asked my Controller if we had half day on Tuesday, he said why not. But we are all not sure if it’s for real. Unfortunately, my MD came back to the office today and looks like we are unable to have our unofficial half day.
We all worked till 530pm and Hubby is able to leave at 3pm. He hang around in the office till 345pm and went off to a little shop and came to pick me around 555pm. When we reached home, Sherry was about to have her dinner and then we settled down to have ours.
The rest of the evening are just routine, playing and reading and then bed time.

Facial so went home late..
Before I went for my facial, I had reminded myself to pop into the Levis’ store to try out the model that was recommended by Jan but I cannot wear! How sad! Is it designated that I’m unable to own a Levis’ jeans??? Boo hoo hoo!!!
In the end, I did not manage to get anything on my shopping list as it was already very late when my facial ended.
I went to meet Hubby @ 945pm and went back home and Sherry refused to go to bed! When we saw her, I asked her, how come so late still have not gone to bed. She just looked at me. So I asked again are u waiting for Mummy?? Guess what she nodded her head lei!!! I was so happy and was in cloud nines!!!! This proves that she wants me in the evening even though she would still unknowingly look for MIL.
After my shower, played with her for a little while then shoo her to bed. MIL said that she had refused but I still managed to coax her and in no time the both of us are in La La Land..

Long time no meet…
Since Rayner was still having fever so Jan did not sent him to school so we managed to meet up.
So nice of Jan to get the scallops from Isetan for me so that MIL no need to go n search high & low for the better quality ones. We had arranged to meet at our usual hunt and as usual yakked all the way home. The train just seems to be flying back and we don’t seem to have enough time to yak more!
The two ladies alighted at CCK, one to meet her ah lao, the other went for medi & pedi (I bet, u all can guess who is who lah), while I went to YT alone. I thought Sherry did not come down to wait for me but still meet her over the bridge. She did not want to go back as she had not gone over to the other side for her evening stroll. But we still managed to ‘bluff’ our way thru. Keke…
When I was home, quickly went to have my shower and dinner so that I could spend some quality time with my darling baby.…
Late delivery …
So angry with the shop that we had ordered our sofa!! IT STILL DID NOT DELIVER AS PROMISED!!!!
Today supposed to be the 2nd delivery of the sofa but they are still unable to keep to the promise. So angry with them lei, but I told Hubby that I’ll leave it to him to sort out with them and in any instance that he wants me to speak up, then I’ll do it.
ANGRY!!!! They better make sure that they will make the delivery on Wed if not they will definitely get it from me!!!!

Mum’s Place
As per yesterday, I woke up at 630am to start on my work but instead of working am updating my blog. Kekeke…. I better get down to work and after Sherry’s lunch, will be going to my mum’s place. Yippie, cos it means that I can switch off and rest when my parents play with Sherry.
But we went to Heartland Mall @ Kovan first to meet Pin for lunch after that we took a train back to Hougang Mall. We meet Yi there and do a little shopping before we went back home. It was around 3 plus when we were home and by then, Mum was just getting ready to sleep. I managed to rock Sherry to sleep and she slept for about 3 hours or so.
We left early as Mum & Dad wanted to go to the hospital to visit our grand-uncle who is very ill and was admitted into SGH.

I felt so bad not to attend Luicia’s 2nd birthday party. Actually it’s not that I did not want to but I was unable to squeeze out the time to attend even though Careen had changed the time to 5pm.
Today we are going to deliver all the CNY goodies to some relatives and we set off after Sherry had her lunch and was only back around dinner time and all of us are so dead tired so today was also an early night for all us. (esp, me lah, woke up at 630am to do my work without Sherry disturbing me).
Tomorrow will have to wake up early again to start on another section of my work… Yawn, sleepy lei…

Playgroup
We had decided to put Sherry to Playgroup and she will start school on the 2nd of Feb. I’ve already applied leave on that day to accompany my little girl to school. She seems excited to go when I asked her about this.
This morning had brought her to the school to register and make payment of $828. There’s the breakdown of the cost.
1) School fees - $550 for 10 weeks (1 term)
2) Deposit - $220
3) Registration fee - $40
4) 1 set of uniform - $18
It’s all so exp hor, but no choice, my Hubby wants to send her there. I’m for it too, cos the main thing is that it’s so near to my place (it’s just opposite). So MIL do not need to worry about traveling.

Busy with Auditors till Friday
These few days, I’m too busy to notice and blog down what has happened as I was busy with the auditors and my Fin Manager is also in town.
The only thing that is different from the Nov time is that I do not need to stay back late in the office to show them the entries. I’ve learnt my lesson and dated all my vouchers!! That really saved me lots of trouble.
But, I did manage to steal out some time to go shopping with Kat… Haha…

Shopping with Kat!!!
I’ve gotten so fed up and stressed with the auditors who had been in the office since last Tuesday. They had been bugging on my back and I was unable to complete my work. Since I’ve told MIL not to cook dinner for me and there is no other plans for the night, I suggested to Kat that we go shopping, since she has no plans for the night as she had cancelled her aerobics.
We had decided to go Bugis for our little shopping trip. After meeting outside Guardian, we went off to have our dinner before proceed to shop. First stop was Leather Ark as we wanted to get a picture of the sling bags for Jan. Next was to Watson to get some stuff and then we went to Seiyu. We did not spend much time there compared to the Children’s’ department. We bought a same jumper for our girls and they are the last 2 on the rack.
It was already around 9pm and as it was raining, the taxi q is soooooooooooooo long! So we decided to call of 1 instead. In around 10 mins, it arrived. We had told the driver that he’ll have to let me alight @ the MRT station and then Kat proceed on with her journey home.
Sherry was already asleep when I was home. I’ve also received 2 dresses from the auction, the pink dress & the purple one. The purple one looks a little too big for her but the pink one is just nice. But MIL said that they dun like nice at all. I was so sad!!

Mission Accomplished!!
We had planned all these a week ago and she received her 1st surprise before lunch time. We had time it such that she’ll have surprises thru out the day.
Although the second surprise, came kind of late but at least it braved thru the rain and arrived in the recipient’s hand safely. Kekeke…
After all these, all of us then managed to work a little for that day. We were so excited for her and were unable to work at all… Haha…

CNY Shopping @ Chinatown
Since we had nothing much to do and CNY is round the corner, we decided to bring Sherry & MIL to Chinatown for a walk.
It was pretty crowded for a weekday but there are nothing much to see. Yes, there are plenty of stalls but most of them are selling the same things. We spent about 3 hours walking around, squeezing with the crowds and trying out some samples. Keke…
In the end we bought 3 柚子, some peanuts and some 瓜子, that’s all for our shopping spree. And of cos, Sherry had lots of fun and we are so tired after carrying her throughout the whole shopping trip…

Still no Sofa!
Taken a day off as today is the delivery of my new sofa, and we had disposed the old one to make way for the new on Sunday.
We were waiting for the delivery and the delivery only came around 12 plus while I was feeding lunch to Sherry. She was watching her daily routine, Barney while having lunch. But to our surprise, the sofa was not the one that we wanted. We had ordered Dark Grey and the longer side is on the left but it came as Dark Brown and the side is on the right instead. Of cos we did not accept the goods even though, the delivery man asked us to compromised but how to do that! So we asked them to bring back.
And of cos Hubby called the shop and checked out what has happened. But they were unable to give us a satisfactory answer. Anyway, they had spoilt all our plans for the day!

Mum’s place in the day, Felicia’s place in the night

What to do...
Since we had no plans for the day, we decided to stay at home for the whole day. But Hubby has some plans for himself. He had some photo shooting with his Galant club members.
At first, he was planning to leave us at Raffles City for some shopping while he proceed with the photo shooting but it was called off as Sherry was having her nap. It was in a way good, cos he took 4 hours to come back. I was really damn pissed off with him! Hai.. but no choice right! Angry also no use so have to leave it as it is.
Tonight is an early night for all of us. Early reporting to La La Land…

Change Again
Due to the heavy rain in the evening, we had to call off the short shopping trip to Lot 1. I wanted to go to the Levis counter to try out the design 599 checking out @ Isetan.
I’ve saw this @ the Taka counter but they are only left with the smaller size like 24, 24 & 26. And our dear Jan went to Isetan to take a look and found that there are still some bigger sizes. I’m so tempted to get one for myself as I’ll be able to save at least $60 (which equals to all Sherry’s clothes from the auction). Kekeke…
Hopefully, I’ll be able to go & try out during the weekend as I would also like to save the $$ for Hubby. *pray hard*
I’ve saw this @ the Taka counter but they are only left with the smaller size like 24, 24 & 26. And our dear Jan went to Isetan to take a look and found that there are still some bigger sizes. I’m so tempted to get one for myself as I’ll be able to save at least $60 (which equals to all Sherry’s clothes from the auction). Kekeke…
Hopefully, I’ll be able to go & try out during the weekend as I would also like to save the $$ for Hubby. *pray hard*

Arrival of my goods...
I’ve received 4 items this evening. It’s the CNY dress, the pink set, the pink dress and also a top (that looks so short). Once we are home, immediately try on Sherry.
The CNY dress is a little lengthy and slight big on her. But she still looks nice in it, so no regrets of spending the money.
The pink set fits her wonderfully well, and she looks so cute in spaghetti straps!
The other pink dress also fits her well and she looks sweet too.
As for the top, she looks alright in that but the only thing is that the top is like very big horizontally instead of lengthy. So it just looks weird but it can still fit her well.
Now I’m only waiting for another pink pleated skirt and another yet to close bidding, then I’m almost done with Sherry CNY clothes.
p.s. I noticed that all the items I bought are sleeveless so pls pray hard that it’ll be hot & sunny instead of rainy like now.. Kekeke…

Nothing much
Stay @ home day due to the rain. So we had started to spring clean the house for CNY. Tired!!
Went to pack Sherry's cabinet and found that she has about 7 sets of new clothes besides those that I've bought from the auction. Looks like I might have to stop shopping for her and get something for Hubby & myself instead. keke...

Dinner with the gals
This evening is the celebration of Tan Lim’s birthday and we had arranged to meet at Taka Crystal Jade.
Since I was early, decided to go for a short shopping trip before going to the venue. I was shopping at the Levis counter when I saw the Sam family. Kekeke… I had forgotten that Jan had permed her hair and was still searching for a straight hair lady when I first saw David. Hahaha… Silly me. Had a brief chat with Jan and off to meet them. But before I went to the restaurant, I saw the Fox boutique having special offer again, 3 pieces for the price of 2. So I went to pick 2 top and 1 spaghetti strap top and of cos the latter one is free so I only pay $13 for 1 top which is pretty cheap. Keke..
I was the second to arrive and we had quite a fun time although there were only the 6 of us instead of the usual 9. Since Hubby also went for his Company Dinner @ Toa Payoh Hub so I went off to meet him around 10 plus.
I was thinking if MIL had fell asleep in the room, we shall not wake her up. But to my surprised, she had not so she went to her room when we had settled down to sleep.

First day w/o Sarong.
As I’ve expected, Sherry is very noisy today. She had kept on asking for her sarong and refused to sleep. We did not dare to put her out of the play pen as she did not have her nap, she will definitely fall down.
It was only around 4pm that she finally fell asleep. I had been unhappy for the whole day as MIL had been buzzing around us for the whole day. As she had been the caregiver in the day, of cos Sherry will be stickier to her instead of me. She knows that I’m unhappy about this issue but she just simply refused to leave us alone. She will come running to Sherry when she makes noise. But I’m trying my very best not to throw my temper too. She just kept hanging around us, just I told her off to stay away and I’ll handle Sherry myself.
Sherry seems to have a hard time to sleep but I think she was too tired so she just dozed off in her cot. And of cos, MIL still keep coming in and so worried that I did not do my part in looking after Sherry, like did not cover her with blanket. D*** 不爽 cos I did but Sherry just kicked it away as she must be feeling hot!
Anyway, I should say, Sherry had passed the day quite peacefully without her precious sarong. We’ll see how the days go by.

Surprised Visitors @ Mum’s place
It’s our weekly visit to Mum’s Place. FIL had sent us there as Hubby needs to do some housework at home. He was busy taking down the old curtains and putting up the new ones.
As usual, Sherry seems to know that we are going out so she refused to sleep but she only dozed off on the way there. Met sister downstairs to pack our lunch and by the time we went upstairs, my little girl refused to sleep. But I still continue to rock her to keep her in the sarong. Her 2 阿姨 played with her will I had my late lunch.
I only managed to make her sleep around 5pm and suddenly, we had 2 surprised visitors. It was Uncle Felix and Auntie Jesline. They had went out with 小妹. We had managed to catch up with Auntie as we did not have the chance last week. She looks good and her gyane had mentioned that may be she will deliver early instead of in Apr.
They stayed for dinner and we carry on chatting till about 10pm. My little silly princess, saw them leaving and she cried so loud.
It took us awhile to coax her and we also left around 1030pm.

Kan Cheong!!
Sherry had been sleeping in the sarong since birth. In the first place, she is the one that so kan cheong that went to buy the sarong back and now she is also the one that wants to give to her brother just because of a call!! Cannot stand her lei.. Very kan cheong!! Haiz..
It’s not that I refused to pass on the things to them but I’m thinking she should put more thoughts into this type of issue before agreeing. I realized that so long as it’s people from her side requesting from her, she will immediately agree to everything without any thinking.
I’m just worried that Sherry is not used to not having the sarong and makes too much noise for me to bear. Alright call me a impatient mummy but I really cannot stand kids that are just making life difficult due to their distress!

Sleepy Head!!!
Since 6th is the last day for me to pass through all the accruals, I’ve no choice but to stay up to work. But my little princess is not co-operative at all. She was still sleeping when I reached home. She had been napping since 730pm and I was home at around 9pm. I was thinking that I might have a chance to start work at around 10 plus but not at all.
After much coaxing, finally she went to bed around 1230am. She must have mixed up her timing. She must have thought that it was still early when I reached home. Keke… By the time she konz, I was already dead tired and no way I can start doing my stuff. So, told hubby that I’ll have a nap and wake up earlier in the morning to work.
Set my alarm at 430am but I woke up before that! I must be too worried that I cannot finish my work. So lazed on bed for 15mins and raise and shine (oops, still dark). After setting up, started to work straight till 630am and my morning routine of washing & sterilizing begins and of cos to get ready for work.
I hope I just dun dozed off in the office today!!

Hair Cut
I had enough of my messy hair do and decided to go to Lot 1 Jean Yip to have my hair cut. Initially, I was just thinking to cut my hair and nothing else but after the stylist is done with the cut, I cannot stand the ugly sight, so decided to colour my hair black to cover up all the colours. The only worry is that I’ll become very auntie! But no choice mah, looks auntie better than looking so ugly, right??
This is the first time, I try Jean Yip. I should say their service is not bad just that the stylist did not suggest much and just cut & trim so end up, I’m having almost the same hair do.
After all these, it was already 9pm so quickly went to grab some light snacks and went back home. But Sherry was already sleeping.

Silly ME!!
I had been worrying for the whole day on the 3rd for nothing! I had been taking my medication religiously so there’s no way that my ‘friend’ does not turn up. So I started to worry and all the negative thoughts just kept rushing into my little brain. I had heard so much about all these cancer, fibroids and what have you.
So much of those thoughts, my ‘friend’ decided to pop by on Wednesday (which is supposed to be the actual day), I really felt a stone off my chest. When I take a closer look at my calendar, I then realized that I had been so worried for nothing! Kekeke... Really silly me… Hahaha…

First Time Shopping online
Happy Shopping!! I’ve started to shop online! Yes Yes, I’m a mountain tortoise and managed to get the following items (2 dresses and 2 skirts) for little princess. They only cost me less than $50 and they are all brand new. But I've only paid for the second & third item and should be receiving them by the end of this week.

Work, work & still work
Today is a beginning of a brand new year and also the brand new working week. Busy as usual cos today is just the start of the closing but still managed to sneak in to chat with the gals.
Met Kat to go home and the journey really seems so short. In awhile we are already at Dover. When we reached YT, we din see Sherry waiting there, so went to a shop and also to Guardian. To our surprised, we saw them walking towards us. This girl nowadays refused to call people, so naughty still hide behind MIL to peep at us.
The rest of the evening will be eat, play & then, her bedtime while Mummy started to work in the room. Tired lei…

Rest @ Home Day
After having so much fun for the past 2 days, my princess woke up around 930am and in awhile she asked for her pacifier and then went for her nap again.
After her porridge, MIL wanted to go to 四马路 to buy some 干粮 for the CNY. We sent her there but we are unable to find a place to park our car, so Hubby let us alighted and he just went to somewhere else to wait for us. Her sister also came down to find us as they wanted to go out after MIL got all her stuffs.
After we parted our ways, Hubby suggested that we go to Lot 1, Kiddy Palace to get the Pigeon Sterilizer for his colleague whom is due to give birth soon. Who knows when we wanted to send the thing over to her place; we found out that she had just given birth and her Hubby will then come over to our place to pick up from us.
The rest of the evening is just normal routine, eat, play with Sherry and then of cos get ready for work the next day.

Second time in the Pool
This morning when Sherry woke up, the first thing is asked for her ‘shoe’. Kekeke… I think she must have enjoyed so much that she knows we are going to the chalet again.
Before we proceed to the chalet, we need to attend my Malay neighbor’s wedding lunch. We went over after Sherry woke up from her nap and the first stop was to Jan’s house to pass her the stuffs that had been sitting in my room for weeks. Sorry dear, it had been long overdue. But Jan was sleeping so arranged with Mr Sam to come down to meet me instead. After a short stay at the wedding lunch, we went off to Safra chalet.
It was drizzling when we reached there and it seems like we had to call off the water playing time. But luckily the rain had stopped and quickly changed Sherry into her shirt and pants before she goes to have fun with the Daddy again. This time she had so much fun that she wailed so loudly when Daddy brought her out of the pool as it started to rain again. We had a hard time coaxing her and when she was in the bathroom, she must have recalled the fall yesterday that she cried again. Or is it that she is not used to have her ah yee to bath for her. But we are in control of the situation in no time.
After everything, she had her porridge and then fun running up and down the stairs (of cos with someone’s help). And she is also like a ball, being passed around by the adults in my family, while mummy can have dinner peacefully.
We left around 10plus and she knock out once we hit the highway, which is just a few minutes drive out of the chalet. Kekeke… She must have been very tired after all these playing these two days.
