After hearing what my mummy says about my granny, I was so worried for her. Hai... all the negative thoughts come rushing into my mind! Especially when there’s a history of liver cancer that runs in the family, (my grand-uncle, whom is her youngest brother, recently died of that).
I called my auntie Peggy when I was on my way home, last evening. She will have the latest information as granny is now staying with her for the time being. She told me that they had just collected the blood test result. It has turned out to be that my granny is suffering from thyroid problem. The doctor will have to do another blood test to determine the stage of her problem and also what type of medication to be given to her. I cannot say that we are totally pleased with the result but we are all very glad that it was not we thought it would have been. The doctor also mentioned that they cannot find any cancerous cells in her liver, lungs & bones, which is the best news for us.
If anything was to happen to my granny, this will be the first encounter and I’m not sure how would I handle all these? I’m aware that death to come to all but I just hope it does not come so fast. Hai...
