Short trip to Mum’s place.

Today will be going to Felicia’s house for pot luck so will not be staying for dinner at mum’s place.

Since FIL is sending me home, I asked him to detour to Punggol to pick Pin up. We both did not had lunch so we decided to have instant noodles for lunch… Mum was playing with Sherry while I cook for the both of us. Hubby stayed at home as he will need to send mum and at the same time come to mum’s place to pick me to fetch us to Felicia’s place..

My little princess had her nap at around 2 plus 3 and all the way till 6pm… When she was awake, she went to wake her grandma up.. kekkee.. this nottie girl.. So Mum looks after her while I cook her fish porridge..

Daddy arrived after she had finished her porridge and also her fruit. We reached around 7 plus and by 930pm, she wants to go back home lei… kekeke.. Nothing to stop this little girl… So we left and detoured to mum’s place to pick up the weekly supply of her fish and fish bone, den off we went..

I can see that Felicia enjoyed playing with Sherry very much, but too bad, we are staying too far away, if not will be able to bring Sherry to play with this jie jie..

Home w/o Kat..

TGIF!!! But sad cos Kat is not going back with us, she is going to her MIL place.. Kat.. we miss u lei..

Met Jan at 6pm at the Citibank’s waterfall and we leisurely walked to Fook Hai Bldg to meet my hubby at 615pm. But I managed to spot him walking towards us while we were waiting to cross the road… Yippie… someone is here to help me with my laptop… kekeke..

As usual, both Jan & I yakked all the way home, but the journey without Kat feels kind of weird…

Heartache!

I was reading the papers in the morning and was so shock to come across such a headline.

A lady died of fever! She died a painful death and she was suffering till the last breath. Her skin fell off and blood oozed out from her ears!! It’s really so painful lei… The doctors are suspecting that she is suffering from some drugs allergy.

This article really set me thinking, life is so fragile. Can anyone imagine how much the family had gone through with her? Seeing her in pain but was so helpless! And her kids are still so young, hai… What will happen to them and her hubby? He must be devastated knowing that his wife died of fever!!

Life is so unpredictable and fragile; people can just die of simple sickness. What is this world become to be??? So, we have to learn to appreciate and cherish what we have around us… How often have we showered the people around us with love, concern and care? How often have we taken the people around us for granted? May be we can slow down our pace and be more aware of the small little things that are happening around us.

Short but yet fruitful shopping spree

Since Jan is on leave to look after Rayner I’m only meeting Kat to go back together. We arranged to meet around the same time and at the usual door. I left on the dot as I was thinking of going to Charles & Keith to window shop for shoes.

I reached the shop at around 545pm, it looks so empty compared to the previous time that I went during lunch time. In fact, I did not intend to get any as my heels are still in quite good conditions but since I have the 20% discount voucher from NKF, I might as well take a look.

After much browsing around I had decided to get myself another pair of black heels and the jeans coloured wedges… But been me, I fell in love with another pair of brown wedges… kekkeke.. So in the end, I bought 3 pairs of shoes for $87.10 after the 20% discount in less than half an hour… kekkeek

It was already 610pm when I left the shop, quickly sms Kat and told her that I’ll be late, and she replied that she was already there waiting for me.. Luckily there was a train waiting at the platform when I reached the station.

She was so surprised to see me with 3 boxes of shoes.. (keekekek) and as usual, we yakked all the way home.. When we reached YT, found that MIL & my little boss are in the NTUC, so we went in to find them. I managed to find the Gain IQ that has the free flash cards so we got 3 tins each.

So we went home after the fruitful shopping trip which I spent close to $200. kekkee..
What to do, I vain pot mah… kekeke

Sick Bug Flying Around

This morning, Kat IM and asked me what happened to Jan, I then realized that she was not in the office. May be because, I have taken for granted that our dear Jan will be there and when I’ve settled the things in the office, then start the chatting session. But sometimes things just do not happen the way it always does.

Kat had messaged and she replied that Rayner has mumps and so she had taken the day off to take care of him. After settling down, went to read the blog, Careen had mentioned that her girls are also not well, and she’ll be taking half day after she has completed the urgent matters. We quickly chase her off to do her work instead of chatting with us. Irene also mentioned that her Ben has also been unwell for 1 week or so and so is YL’s girl… Alamak, what’s wrong, how come all the kids are falling sick one by one? We concluded that may be it’s the weather fault.. kekeke… always looking for something to shift the blame… kekeke..

Today’s msn is so quiet WITHOUT Jan n Careen… Wei… ladies, come back quickly, we miss u both lei… And of cos, kiddos, get well soon so that all the mummies will not be worried about u all.. :)

Yes!! I did it!!!

Yippie... I've finished creating all the projects and will be able to contiune with my A/cs lei... So happy lei...
This means, I managed to deliver what I promised and better still, before the scheduled time, it also means that I'll have time to clear some accounting entries, it also means that I can chat with the khakis on theMSN and lastly, it also means that I no need to bring the heavy laptop back home to rush my work... REALLY SO HAPPY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YIPPIE!!!!!
I'll be able to have a good rest tonight... kekekkee...

Since Promised Den have to deliver

Early morning around 10am, was dragged into the meeting on the Bluescope project's TA creation. I was thinking, so early, have not even settled down on my stuffs, but also good lah, I have a few queries to check with him. Having settled with the queries, I'll be able to start creating..
During the meeting, they asked when can I complete, so told them to give me till the end of Tuesday (26 July) . Can't delay too long as I have to think of the consultants who will have to enter their time into the system.
Since I've given my promise so I have to deliver, so brought home the laptop and started work when Sherry fell asleep. Started to log on at around 930pm and was working till 1130pm. MIL fell asleep while waiting for the laundry, so instead of waking her up, I just do the laundry and that was around 12am.. By the time, I'm in bed was already 1230am... tired lei...
Hopefully, I'll be able to complete the creation by the end of the day...

Good news and not so good news

Since I’m given the huge project to create the new projects, I had to cancel my appointment with the girls from ACS. (sorry girls!) So it also means the power 3 will resume from today onwards… *Yippie*

I have to complete all the creation in 2 days, which means I have to bring work home for at least these few days. Luckily, I remembered to ask the IT person to install the VPN into my system so that I’ll be able to log on to the server to use the Time Accounting System.

So the not so good news is that I’ll have to work from home and the good news is that I’ve cancelled my appointment tonight…

First try on the porridge

So tired, worked till 2am and Sherry woke up at around 730am, which means I only had a couple of sleep. That little girl refused Daddy in most of the times except play, so this poor mummy has to be always in her sight..

We noticed that she has been refusing milk except for the night feed, so we guessed that she’ll prefer to have porridge instead. So today, mummy will try cooking the porridge for dinner.. And my Sherry loves it very much may be its because of the scallop that I had added into the porridge.. kekeke…

MIL still did not want me to try on the one with the fish stock, guess she must be worried that I’m unable produce the result that will be on par with her and Sherry refused to take. Emmm.. at least I have to give a try right… let’s see how, may be this weekend, hopefully she’ll let me cook it…

As for the first try on the porridge, its considered successful cos even hubby also say nice.. hahha… I shall do all the cooking on every weekends le.. Yummy..

Normal Saturday

Daddy is working today so FIL sent me to mum’s place… Nothing much and unusual happen.. Sherry enjoyed herself with the company of my parents and my little sister…

She is now sleeping with Daddy and Mummy still have to slog through the night on the system…

Friday Bluez

My happiness was short lived. I thought that I would not be required to create the new project in the Time Accounting but who knows its was some miscommunication along the way and I still need to do so. And time is running out for me. All the consultants that are involved in the project are waiting for me to create.. OMG…. Looks like I may have to start to burn some midnight oil to create all the codes.

Luckily, I had completed the main bulk of my accounting entries, so at least I’ll be able to concentrate on this ‘BIG’ project… Really feel the stress and pressure from all places as there are so many people waiting for me to create the project code. To make matter worst, I’m still not very familiar with the system… Really need help from the master of the system, but she is always busy with HR and am so pei seh to keep on interrupting her…

Well, guess there isn’t much choice left for me, the only way out is to rush out the codes asap and may have to cut down chatting with the khakis… Hai… looks like my busy period started early this month…

Happy Thursday

A few happy things happened today…
Firstly, received a piece of wonderful news on Wednesday that there isn’t a need for me to do any additional work to set up the project that had passed ‘up’ by Australia, quickly went to update my kahkis and they are so happy for me… Yippie… No need to stress over this issue…
Secondly, I set a target for myself to complete all the data entry of the suppliers’ invoices. On one hand, busy chatting with the gals on the other doing my data entry.. Hahaa… I have never enjoyed data entry as much as I had before… kekkeke… BY 530pm, I managed to meet my own target so am going home with a light and sunny heart…
Thirdly, Jan is meeting me to go back together. She forgot to buy the parking coupon so she did not drive to work.. Yippie… (Dunno is it really forgot or she also wants to go back with me) hee hee… So meet her at the usual ‘door’ and we yakked all the way home… (the only sad thing is that Kat is not with us).
Lastly, hubby went home for dinner and after that we both played hide and seek with Sherry.. Seeing him enjoying his time with Sherry makes me so happy too..
Emmm… Happy Baby = Happy Daddy = Happy Mummy…
We played so hard that we can tell, Sherry is so so tired… So I went to make some milk for her and she finished all of them, the next moment, she fell asleep…

Pin’s Graduation Ceremony

Yesterday attended Pin’s graduation ceremony with my parents, 2nd auntie & uncle and most importantly my grandma. They were all so happy for her and my parents too.

Although, she is not the first grandchild of the family (in fact, I am but hai… ) but at least the is the first one have graduated from an university. I’m also so proud of her… hee hee… My parents are so proud too, especially my dad, I can tell that he is so happy and proud of his daughter…

Have to wait for another 3 years to attend my youngest sister’s graduation at NTU… Or may will be me to graduation from ACCA… Emmm.. I also dunno.. Hahaha..

CONGRATULATIONS TO U SISTER... WELL DONE!!!

Going Home Alone

Hai... Not meeting the gals to go back home as I have to attend my sister's graduation ceremony later this evening.. Sad!!!
On one hand am happy to attend the ceremony but on the other sad cos the power of 3 had not been going back together for awhile... Dun think we'll be meeting each other for the next few days, Kat will be having a company dinner tomorrow and Jan may be on leave on Friday and Kat has to go back to MIL too. Hai.... How I miss u leh, friends!!! Miss the yakking session on the way home...

Busy Tuesday

Heavy rain in the early morning and was still thinking that Jan will go back with us. But she prove us wrong, she drove to work!! Hai… So sad… In fact, she drove because of the heavy rain, as she has to walk a distance to the bus stop and before she leave her block, she was also drenched. Okie lah, forgive you lah.

Since I’m rushing work so not much chatting with the gals. But still managed to sneak in for a short while to arrange to go back with Kat and also a brief meet up with Careen to collect the fox t-shirt that she had bought of all of us..

We had arranged to meet at JE at around 630pm and she was already there when we reached the platform.. Collected the stuff, had a short conversation and we parted our way.

Reached YT, Sherry & MIL were there to meet us, Kat went to take her feeder bus and we went home.. Quickly had my dinner and settle Sherry to bed. Still managed to do some work before I went to LaLa Land…

Pissed off!!

The day passed as usual, just slightly busy as month end is creeping in but still continue chatting with the gals in the msn. Hahaha… Since Jan had a leg muscle ache so she decided not to drive to work, which is a good news to both Kat and myself, this means that she’ll be taking the train with us.. Yippie!!!

When we were home, she did not want me to go n have my shower and when I wanted to close the door, she wanted to cry. My heart softened and tried to coax her to let me have my shower. When I was having dinner, Sherry was sitting on her high chair playing and also asking for food. Since she was making some noise, MIL just released her and bring her down, but she was also watching her Korean serial, so was not paying all the attention on her. I was really pissed off with her. If you really want to watch the show just left her in the chair and I’ll take care of her on my own. She also go against my idea of training Sherry to sit at the table with me when I’m having my dinner… Hai.. Angry lei..

Around 830pm, she’s already asking for her night feed, so I brought her out of the room and passed to MIL… She was still watching the TV serial and so her attention was distracted when Sherry was trying to stand up. The next moment, I heard Sherry cried out loud, I was in shock. She fell backwards, cos MIL was unable to catch hold of her in time!! All these because her eyes were glued to the TV!!!! AM D*** PISSED OFF LEI!!

After I had pacified her and brought her to the room to have her milk, she kept on coming into the room and refused to go out!! Asked me to go and do my work, she’ll accompany Sherry and put her to bed. Of course I was pissed off again. Now still want to rob my quality time with my daughter!!! D*** Angry lei… I refused to barged and just stayed in the room and still tell her nicely that Sherry will not sleep if you’re here, please go out. But inside my heart, I feel like tell her to GET OUT!!! (of course I did not lah)..

I know she’s very concerned about her grand-dotter but sometimes I just feel that she’s overboard. She is very protective over Sherry that sometimes makes me feel that she should be Sherry’s mummy instead. I know that she had gone through so much stress while am preggie but did anyone know the mental and physical torture that I went through? I just sometimes, people do not see the other side of the coin and that’s very very sad..

No matter what … I’M SHERRY’S MUMMY AND SHE’S MY DOTTER!!!! Get the thinking right!

Homely Sunday

MIL had asked BIL and his wife to come back for dinner so she was up early to go marketing and busy for a long while in the kitchen.

I was keep myself busy with Sherry and nothing but Sherry…hahaha.. So mean right.. Of cause I did help out for a little while lah… Around 9am, Jan called and said that she’ll be going to Causeway Point to get additional animals for the Ark. She was just checking will I be going or not. In fact, I had not brought this up to my hubby yet but I know he will say that Sherry is still too young for this type of toys, and I’m right. So we call off the trip.

Emm.. She did not finished her milk again. Could it be because of the FM?? Anyway, I decided to get another small tin of the follow-on to mix with the Gain IQ. And Mummy knows best, she finished all her next feed… Yippie.. Looks like I have stick with the mixture for awhile…

Mum’s place..

Usual Sat, FIL sent us back to mum’s place while hubby went for the search of the Mazda 6 car… We stayed up late last night to try n solve the riddle but we still did not manage to do so and the both of us went to bed with an unsolved mystery…

Early in the morning, he managed to solve the riddle and while he was busy putting them in order, I went to buy breakfast for the both of us. After that, off to the East Coast Parkway, he went. We left the house after Sherry had her porridge.

As usual, Sherry had a fun time at mum’s place and I also had my rest while mum and dad take turn to look after her. That poor Daddy was at home cleaning that little princess’s room and air con while Mummy has her rest at mum’s place… kekkkee

We all went back at around 9 plus and the girl was so tired that she fell asleep on the way home… But this silly Mummy still seems to be unable to get the neck pillow right on her neck… Emm.. still have to experiment..

Lonely Friday

Today went home without the gals… Kat went to MIL place and Jan rushed home as she’s not well and she’s going back to see the doctor.

Hai… the journey home is so lonely even with my hubby around. Its just feel so different without the yaking and yaking with them… Both Jan and myself felt the same way, dunno if Kat has the same feeling… Emmm…

Short Shopping Trip

After my facial, have a quick dinner and went shopping at Raffles City..

First stop, Esprit was looking out for the same shirt that Jan bought but there wasn't my size liao, so sad.... so did not managed to get anything from there..

Next stop, Robinsons was also unable to get anything.. hai... So went to Mark & Spensers' and get 1 roll of biscuit for MIL and 1 roll for sister too...

Last stop was Mango but it was already 815pm and hubby will be coming at 9pm so there wasn't much time left.. Quickly browsed through the racks, and only managed to get 1 t-shirt @ $9.. Yeah at least I managed to get something for myself...

Emm.. can consider as a fruitful trip lah... :)

Happy like a bird

I can go back home liao lei!! Just because the KL server is down and my Controller is not in yet, I’m really dreaming lei… hahhaa

My Fin Manager is on leave since Wednesday to Friday so was thinking of keying in all the vouchers and sent to him by this Friday but who knows the KL server was down. Seems like they always have this problem when there’s no one in the office… Quickly try to locate all the staff but none of them will be going back to the office… Hai… how come like this wan… They all depend on Mr Lam to be the one that’s always in the office and even he is on leave, they also expect him to come back to turn on the power… Poor Mr Lam… Cannot even go on leave in peace..

The gals were talking about the Fox t-shirt that Jan & Careen bought on their shopping trip, and since the sales is still on, we thought of getting one for each of us… hee hee.. like uniform but in different colour.. And since only Careen and me saw the t-shirt before, they all request Jan to take a picture and post it on the blog for them to see… kekkee.. welcome, our model… Jan… hahha

Tonight will not be meet the gals to go back home as I’ll be going for my long overdue facial… On the way there, by passed Mango, they are still having sales lei.. hee hee.. later can come n see if I can get anything cheap n good… Yeah..

Donating to Good Cause or ???

For so many years, I guess, this question had been in many people’s mind. How come they need more & more money each year?

They will say things like there are increasing patients every year and so they will need more money every year, but are there really an increasing number of patients or just that the bigger portion of the money are going into the staff’s pocket like have more bonus and higher pay increase?

According to the papers, there are so many people petition on the internet and many had withdrawn their Giro donations just because of an inconsiderate management staff that had said the wrong things at the wrong time. Without all these donations from the public the only people that will suffer are the really needy patients and not the inconsiderate person. But these actions are just very normal reaction from angry public who had just realized that their money had not be fully utilized by the organization which they had thought otherwise.

So in the end… are we still donating our money to good cause? Emmm… dunno how to answer to this question.

Sad News

We were still chatting on the msn this morning and suddenly, Jan went into MIA but we did not even suspect anything. Suddenly, she told us a very very sad news…… Her grandmother had passed away last night. She’s very upset and kept on crying non-stop. Well… this is understandable lah, someone so dear to us.

Both Kat and myself kept very quiet for awhile for her to at least calm herself down, and later we decided to give her a conference call. We told her to take things easy and take the day off to help her mum with the things to be done. We’ll also break this sad news to the khakis and they are so sad too…

Well… Jan.. Our hearts go out with you.. Emm.. dunno how to console you but just want to let you know that we’re always here if you need someone to talk to or a shoulder to cry on… *sob sob*

Spending $$ Day

Jan was telling us about the Little Men Toy that she had bought for her kids but she wanted to buy the Ark too but it was not selling at Isetan. So since, Kat had the metro visa card and will have 10% discount, we all decided to detour to Causeway Point instead.

I gave MIL a call to make sure that she had not cooked dinner and also asked if she wants to bring Sherry there. She said okie, and she’ll meet us at the MRT control station… Quickly tell the girls that my little boss will be going too.

Both of our train came at the same time so we met inside the station instead. According to MIL, Sherry was so happy on the way here, I guess, this short shopping trip is a bonus to her. Since, we only have one thing in mind, we quickly went to the Metro toy’s section and Jan got what she wanted, so she was happy like a bird..

After they had settled the payment, they left for home, leaving us still in the mall… I’m so hungry so we went to Crystal Jade for dinner, sort of treating MIL for what she had done for us. After dinner, we went to Cold Storage and got some groceries and we took a cab back.

Daddy came back when am still playing with Sherry so he managed to spend some time with his little princess before she went to bed..

Hungry, Playful or Nightmare??

Emm... Sherry woke up at around 430am and asked for milk, something which she had already stop doing so for a long long time and to MIL's surprised, she finished all the 4oz of milk.. Bottoms up lei... She hungry meh? she did take her night feed before she goes to bed lei??? Really question mark lei...
We guessed that probably she took it at around 845pm and may be she's just feeling hungry so wake up for feed... So that poor MIL did not want to wake us up in the middle of the night, she had been awake since then. Sherry did not even go back to sleep after the feed... She was just lying around on the bed, and around 630am, she wanted to go out to find her sarong.. Hai.. Dunno what's wrong with her lei... wake up so early... Played too much with Mummy???
But one time for such, she will definately have her nap later in the morning, so hopefully MIL will be able to rest lah...
Feel so bad for not waking up to accompany Sherry...

Workload Increase But No Increase in Pay… Hai

Last week, Sonia had already ‘fore warned’ me that there will be a drastic increase of work load for me to work on the TA system and true enough, there were lots of things under my care lei… Hai….

I’ve to be in charged of all the time allocations entries and also the creation of all the projects. Previously, the Bluescope project was managed by the Australia side but for whatever reason, it has moved up to Singapore. All the codes will have to be created asap as the consultants are supposed to enter their time spent weekly. On top of that, they also required us to submit a report to them 3 days after the month end, which will clush with my month end closing. Wonder how would I cope?? Hai..

Of cause in the beginning will be difficult but at least Sonia is willing to sit through the whole process with me, that’s really my blessing in disguise. Hopefully, I’ll be able to survive through all these… But if we look on the bright side, the chances of me staying on in this company is getting higher each day… Yippie… Still looking forward for them to convert me into a permanent staff… *pray hard hard*

Stayed at home Sunday

The first person that comes to my mind was Jan when I was looking at the brown rice sitting in my fridge. Since Sherry doesn’t like them, YL’s girl is suffering from constipation after that BR and Kat does not give Shannon these, Jan is the best person liao.. Called her and also check if she’s okie. We both can’t arrange anything cos we both want to let our kids have their nap first. So we’ll arrange again later.

Daddy planned to go shopping for his shoe but cannot decide on the place to go so we let Sherry has her nap first. We also plan to go to the shop Mong Li to get the Gain IQ FM. In a short while, received a call from Kat, telling me that the Econ near to her place is selling the Gain IQ are a cheaper price than Mong Li, emmm… my eyes lit up with joy, cos the shop is so much nearer compared to Mong Li, which means, we can save a little bit more.. kekeke… but I think they are all carrying the older version of the FM lei. Sherry is already on the new improved version. Emmm… how lei..

Kat called again, she found CS is selling the newer version at $23.95 with a bag and a bottle of vitamins, am so tempted again, so I told Daddy, we shall go to Causeway Point after Sherry wakes up. But the sky was so dark and it looks like its really gonna pour so there goes my meet up with Jan too.. Hai…

In the end, we spent the day at home… peaceful Sunday without MIL… kekkee.. nottie me… :p

Mum’s place

FIL send us to mum’s place after Sherry had her porridge, she had her nap on the way there.. Thought that she’ll continue when she reached mum’s place but she wants to play with her ah yee instead.

Since Pin will at Hougang Mall for a short while, both Yi and myself thought of bring Sherry for a short shopping trip, so taking an umbrella with us and off to the mall we went. She was so happy and even helped me to hold onto the umbrella, can really tell that she enjoyed her way there.

We decided to have KFC for lunch, we gave her some whipped potato and she likes it.. hahhaa… And after lunch, that xiao yee, wants to have ice cream for dessert so, my Sherry gets to eat ice cream, her favourite!!! She really enjoyed her short shopping trip.. kkekeke
When we reached home, she played with mum and dad for a while and then she went to have her nap. This time, she had her nap from 430pm straight till 630pm. Hahha little piglet lei.. and her Daddy arrives just in time when she wakes up..

Good News from Jan???

It was a very normal Friday and everyone is in a super duper good mood.. Careen no need to work on Saturday and of cause for the rest of us, it’s the beginning of the weekend..

Jan had not been feeling well since last week, she seems to have some symptoms of being pregnant. Emm.. if she really is, I’ll definitely congratulate her but if not, den Jan u better go for a thorough check up lei.

So waiting patiently for Jan’s call, hoping to hear good new from her... fingers cross

First Movie After So Many Years – Initial D

Today we are going for our first movie for Sherry’s arrival.. I guess the last movie that we went to was the show ‘Finding Nemo’…

Since the making of the movie, I’ve already mentioned to hubby that once the show is showing, will go with him unless he wanted to go with the members of the club. So I checked out with him last week, it seems that no news of any meet up for the movie, we decided to go for the movies last evening.

After meeting him at 545pm, first we went for dinner, then to Cold Storage to get some groceries and proceed to Lido for our movie. Our show is at 730pm and by the time we got to the cinema, it was already 715pm… It could have been earlier but we got lost in the building, and I nearly call Jan for help!! (See the importance of Jan!!!) kekekeke…

It was only 10 plus when we reached home, but that little princess was already fast asleep. She such a dear, had a chat with MIL and we all went to bed..

We truly enjoyed the movie and we both anticipated that there will definitely be a part two to this movie and we shall watch it again…

Goodbye doesn’t mean Forever…

Before I left the office, Kat was telling me about an article that she was reading. It’s about a baby girl that only survived a week due to some heart problem that she was born with.

It’s really a very sad article and it struck me pretty bad after reading it. The parents of the little girl (Shih-Ann) are really very strong. They carried on to with the pregnancy till full term despite of doctor’s advice. I really salute them for this type of decision. If am in their position, am not sure if I’ll make the same decision like them. Can you imagine that others will be able to see their babies after delivery but in their case……..

It was so conincident that Shih-Ann was also born on February 15, same day as Collin…..

Yippie… Month end is over…

I’ve completed all the invoicing and now its just leave to Calvin to finalize with the June’s accounts…

So happy today but did not chat much with the khakis as am still busy with other stuff. Received a call from hubby asking shall we go for the movie Initial D tomorrow as he will be off early. Decided to go to Lido for the show so the first person that came to my mind was Jan (*evil smile*).. So I IM her about this and she readily agree to buy the tickets for me. Kekeke.. thanks a lot my friend…

As usual, meet Jan & Kat to go back together and of cause we yak all the way home…

Busy Monday

Today is the last day of closing and so have to rush out all the approved invoices and to accrue all those that are still pending…

Chat a little with the gals so that I can go back home early with Jan & Kat… So happy to be able to go back with those two, we really enjoy each others company..

We went our separate ways when we reached YT MRT. Jan had to be home quickly as her MIL wants to go back early, Kat went off to take the feeder bus and I went to find my MIL and that little boss…

Sherry slept very early cos she did not have her nap the entire day. She KO around 830pm and I managed to watch a little TV.. kekeke

Beautiful Sunday

Today is the celebration of Shannon’s 1st birthday so we had all arranged to reach Kat’s house around 12 plus 1, but Sherry was having her nap until 115pm and it turn out that I’m the last one to reach there.

Saw the khakis sitting at one corner, sat down and join in the fun. Sherry also had a fun share, playing with all the toys in the box. As usual, Careen only brought her butterfly (next time please bring your caterpillar too), Jan brought both Rs and YL is with her princess.. Didn’t have a good chat with all our kids around us.. still prefer to go chat on the MSN as we can chat without worrying about anything… *Naughty mummy*..

We all left after eating the cake, Careen went to take a cab and we sent Jan and her big
R home.. Played a little while with Sherry, then, ask Daddy to bring her to the sarong and let her have another nap so that I can continue with my work.

Yippie.. MIL had already cooked some more food for me to bring to work tomorrow.. I’ll be having, rice, chicken stew and yong tao fu soup.. Yummy…

Mum and Dad are also sick!!

I was intending to ask FIL to send us back and leave Daddy at home but by the time, he wanted to go out, Sherry was having her nap. So no choice lor, waiting for Daddy lah, but who knows, he was going out with Steven. In the end, we were at home the whole afternoon.

Quickly called the two sisters, and found that both Mum & Dad are not well! Since they are also sick, we had decided not to go back home so early. So we were home until evening, then went back for dinner.. Stayed for awhile and went back around 10plus as Sherry wanted to sleep liao..

On the way home, we went to pick MIL too. Sherry fell asleep in the car seat and so I managed to use the neck pillow on her… keekekek… she looks so funny with the thing round her neck..

Quiet and Busy Day

Today, Jan and Careen went for the shopping trip. I was so tempted to follow them but I need to issue invoices so no choice lor.. next time lah.. So that leaves only Kat, YL & me.

No much chatting with them cos was busy like a mad woman with invoicing as they have to be sent out to all the PM for approval by today. Was slogging my way through the day and also envying the two ladies that are shopping and eating their heart out today.. Hai…

Later of the day, I’ve received the most wonderful news of today. I’m given more time to complete the comparison ie, am given till Monday!! Hooray!!! Quickly IM Kat and sms Jan about this good news… which means, I can go back in peace once I’ve completed all the June invoices..

In the end, I only managed to leave the office at around 830pm, can u imagine if I have to finish the comparison by today, think I need to camp in the office lei.. Arranged for hubby to come over to pick me and by the time, we reached home, Sherry was already asleep.. So I told hubby, let MIL sleep with her tonight, I need a good night sleep as I brought the work back home…

At last home with the gals

Hai.. today is already the last day of the month.. Anticipated that will have to work very late for the closing…

I had sent reminders to the consultants to enter their time into the TA system so that I’ll be able to generate the time entries report tomorrow. Hopefully all of them remembered to do so… *pray hard hard*

As usual, continue to key in the suppliers’ invoices, who knows, received instructions from one of the manager that I have to do comparison for all the time entries against those that had already been invoiced and of course I need to start from the beginning of year, ie, from Jan to May 2005. OMG!!! I was saying to myself, kill me please… I’m already rushing like a mad woman for this month’s closing and he wants me to do additional task, just because this is the 2nd quarter and he wants to be on budget!!

No choice lah, LL also must do lor… what to do… hai, who ask me to be just a small staff in the office… hai… so fed up… Looks like I’m definitely unable to meet Jan & Kat to go back liao… Sad. Sad. Sad…

Since I’m done with the suppliers’ invoices, I managed to generate the system to pull out all the time entries from Jan to May 05, and was thinking of meeting the two khakis home… They had been pretty ‘angry’ with me that I was unable to meet them yesterday and the day before and of cause today as I’ve told them that I’ll be working late again. But as a little reward to myself, I decided to go back early today cos I managed to clear at least all the AP entries.. *give a pat on my shoulder*…

So informed them that I’m meeting them and our meow meow is so happy.. Although I can only meet them later, both of them are still willingly to wait for me.. *so touched*.. But we can only yaked from Outram to CCK cos, Kat wanted to collect her medication and Jan wanted to go to the Kiddy Palace to get something for her kids.

When I reached home, settled down, had my dinner, played a little while with Sherry and then, she went to bed. I fell asleep while waiting for Daddy to come back. But still managed to worked for 2 hours on the back log and was so tired liao… KO at 12am..
