Unofficial Long Weekend.

I’d taken a day off, thinking that will be able to accompany hubby and Sherry. But too bad, still need to rush out some urgent work as it’s the end of the month and to make matter worst, it’s Q3. *sorry lah, darling, no time to accompany u both*..
After settling all the work (of cos a brief chat with the gals), quickly went to cook the porridge and was intending to bring her to the Learning Vision to view the school.
But to my dismay, it begins to pour very heavily and I’ve to cancel all my plans and stay at home. In this case, we had decided to go back to mum’s place as we will not be able to go back on Saturday as we have a wedding dinner to attend and of cos not Sunday as I’ve to work on that day.
After Sherry’s afternoon nap, we went to mum’s place and at the same time, send MIL to the old neighbour’s house. I’ve told mum to cook her porridge and can tell that she really enjoyed it very much.. keke.. *something different from her own granny*…
She had a great time and we stayed till around 10pm. And that girl must have played so much that she was so tired and she fell asleep after we had traveled for a short distance.

Still hurts!

Suddenly felt a stir by the side of my bed. It was hubby getting out of bed. Quickly woke up and asked him what has happened, I was worried about his back that I did not have much rest. Take a look at the clock, it was around 2am, and it seems like he cannot take the aching pain anymore and decided to take the painkiller for the pain.
I think the medication did help him and he was sleeping very soundly after taking it. But poor me was being sandwich into by Sherry and Daddy. On one hand, Sherry was tossing and turning and on the other was Daddy trying to turning around with a hurting back. Hai… sleepy lei… Luckily today is the last day of the working week for me. But it also means the beginning of the working weekend for me… *boo hoo hoo*

Leave = MC?

Hubby’s 5 days leave started yesterday and that unlucky guy hurt his back. And the worst thing is that he did not even know how he hurt it. I think he could have strain his back muscles last weekend but he did not even know that.
Last Saturday, he was trying to put Sherry into the playpen and immediately, he felt the strain on his back. I told him many times that to let her down into the playpen in a standing position instead of bending ourselves to lower her down in the sitting position. He seems to ignore my advice and he is the type of person whom the threshold of pain is at its minimum. So yesterday, for no rhyme of reason the muscles decided to start to ache and give him pain, and that stubborn man, still refused to go the doctor. I was wondering was he thinking that the pain will go away on its own! Hai.. What a silly thinking!
When I was home last evening, then he told me that he had strain his back muscle (and still refused to go to the doctor). MIL insisted him to apply some Chinese medication on the aching back and that has to be applied for consecutive 3 days and 3 nights. The medication will only be removed after 12 hours, then air the area and later continue with the medication again. Hope this will heal!
Hai… This is not the first time that his leave becomes medical leave… What does this implies? Cannot go on long leave???

Take MRT to work.

As stated, because, Hubby will be on leave from today till next Tuesday. In order to let him rest, told him that I’ll take the train to work. Today is one of the countable times that I’ve to rush with the crowd for the train.

Woke up the same time, finished cleaning all the bottles and teats, I still have about 15 mins to laze on the bed in the aircon room. Since MIL is sleeping in my room, I can only have my shower and took my clothes to the other room to change. Left the house around 730am and managed to catch the direct train that goes to Pasir Ris. Yippie!! I managed to get a seat at JE and have a short nap till Tiong Bahru. It was only 815am when I reached the Raffles Place. Decided to have Macs breakfast so I went to China Square to get a Egg MacMuffin (not meal, just the burger). *Yummy*…

It was not a long journey after all…

Sherry is 16 months old today & Happy Bday to ...

Today the 27th September is my Sherry’s 16 month old day and also my ‘big brother’ Andy’s birthday. *happy birthday to you*..
16 months ago, she was a little baby that just sleep and eat but now my little girl is cruising and at the same time turning into a little demanding princess. I know all these are the growing up phrase of the child. But under my MIL’s care, she may become a demanding and dominating person so looks like mummy will be the bad guy.
She is now learning and mimicking what the adults do. She had applied lipstick all over her face, carrying a bag which contains a handkerchief, face towel and her brush before going out. All these are the things that MIL had been doing. I’m not sure whether all these are good or bad, but I can tell that she is learning everything she sees. So I’ve told Daddy to watch out on our actions and of cause there are certain times where I’ll also forget, so we have to remind each other.
Well, just hope that she’ll grow up into a useful person. *Mummy & Daddy loves you deeply*

Hooray!

After 3 long weeks, the power of 3 will resume today! Yes, today! As Jan’s ah lao has ended his reservist last Friday. Today will be the beginning of Jan going back with us again. Hip Hip Horray!
In fact home without Jan is very different, may be Kat has the same feeling as me too. It’s like something is missing in one way or another. But anyhow, she will be going back with us liao!

Home and then Auntie’s place

Today, I’ve also cooked her lunch and dinner without MIL”s assistance and I think I passed with flying colours liao. Keke
We stayed at home till around evening time and we went to second Auntie’s place at Telok Blangah for dinner. She had been asking us to go over to her place for the longest time, but we also did not managed to go down.
We reached there around 8 plus and we stayed till 10 plus. We sent sister back to NTU hostel before we went home.
When we reached home, Sherry played a little while and then we put her to bed.

Mum’s place then his Cousin’s place.

After her porridge, FIL send us back to mum’s place and she had her nap on the way there, as Daddy had asked someone to come over to service our aircon. She woke up when we reached but since she did not have a long nap, she was a little cranky. Quickly settled her into the sarong and rock her for a little while. But she refused to sleep any longer. Brought her out and let her play with sister.
When mum and dad returned, she was a little better and started to play with them. The next moment, she went to carry a little bag from sister’s room and walked to the kitchen to show her grandparents. Vain pot…
At around late afternoon, forcefully asked her to sleep and I rock her for an hour and finally, she fell asleep.
Hubby came over to pick us around 6 plus and we left for his cousin place. We went there for pot luck dinner and left around 9 plus. That little girl, really doesn’t give face to anyone, if she wants to go home, she just keep pointing at the door and hinting that she wants to go back liao. She fell asleep on the way home without her last feed. So when we are home, we both wake her up to have her milk and she managed to finished all and then knock off again.

Cooked the porridge w/o MIL’s help. Yippie!

Sherry woke up very early in the morning around 730am and the poor mummy and daddy had to follow her.
Today, I managed to cook the porridge without MIL’s help. She was at the market when I started to prepare the stock.
The stock was 3 pieces of fish bone with a handful ikan billis and a sweet potato. I put all these to boil for around 45 minutes before adding to the handful of rice in the other pot. Added some spinach to the rice and let the thing cook and then added a slice of threadfin fish and add a little soy sauce to taste.
It was done by the time she came back from her morning walk with her daddy. She kept on showing the ‘good’ sign while eating. *keke* this is so an encouragement from her! *hehe*

Home with Kat & …

Since Kat’s MIL is attending a wedding dinner, she will be going home. We had arranged to meet at Clark Quay MRT exit as she is taking a ride from us. I left office around 630pm and went to meet hubby at 645pm so by the time we walked to the exit, it was around almost 7pm.
We yakked all the way home and we send Kat back to the Econ near to her place, as I need to buy the Gain IQ which was selling at $43.50 cheaper than NTUC. After that we parted and we went home. Little princess was not down at the drive way to meet us. When we reached home, she wanted to watch the VCD again… It seems like it’s a habit for her to watch it in the evening when I’m home.
After playing till about 9 plus, we asked if she wanted to go to bed and she nodded her head. So went to wash and change her before I went to make milk and in no time that little one is already in La La Land.

Yippee!! TGIF!!

Yippee… Today is Friday and also Jan’s hubby last day at his reservist. Which means the power of 3 will resume on Monday… So happy… Guess the one that may be upset will be her hubby cos as mentioned by Jan, he was only entitled 3 weeks to meet his wife home and we have the balance of the days. But our happiness will be ending by the end of year as mentioned Rayner will be in the childcare so she will begin her rush after her office hours. Poor Jan… *pls take care, remember to eat well and of cos don’t lose anymore weight, if not Careen will have a hard time catching up* keke

Cinderella for the evening.

MIL had just informed me that she will be going out in the evening and want me to reach home real early. So was telling the gals about this and was thinking that I’ll not be able to go back with Kat. But our dear Jan offered to help. She asked her hubby to go to Outram Park MRT to pick the both of us up.

We yakked all the way home like the good old days and total left out the person who is sending us back.. *sorry hor, I think we must have misbehaved, in one way or another*… It seems such a long time since, we last met Jan to go back together. But all these joy will end by the end of the year 2005, as Rayner will be attending the whole day child care and RayAnne will be with her MIL, which means she will have to rush from 530pm onwards. *hmm… will definitely miss Jan very much*

Why is the title phrased in such a way? MIL wanted me to reach home by 630pm so I told the gals that I’ll be Cinderella as I’ve a curfew to meet and Jan joked that if I’m not home by then, her car will be turned into a black pumpkin. Keke.. Luckily, I managed to reached home by 620pm, quickly went to have my shower, gobbled down my dinner while that girl is watching the VCD again, at the same time, MIL sneak out of the house. After all these, I brought her to the NTUC to check out the Nepia diapers promotion and I grab 2 packs home with that little one in my arms. *feel like my arms are breaking*…

By 8pm, Sherry told me that she wants to sleep. So quickly washed her, feed her milk and she went to La La Land in no time. She was so tired cos she refused to have her nap in the afternoon as MIL told me. She was awake since noon time. And that poor Daddy was still thinking of rushing home to enjoy some time with his girl but she was already in La La Land before he left the office.

Wonderful News

My manager just told me not to rush on the reconciling of the account. He will slowly do some adjustments and hopeful, we can tidy up this account by the end of the year. He wants me to start reconciling 2005 first and then doing backwards. It is such a wonderful news, which means I do not need to rush out all the 3 years reconciliation soon… Yippie… Thank you soooooooo much!!!

Early but Not so...

I’ve not been chatting much with the gals on the msn as busy with work. It was around knock off time, quickly arranged with Kat on the meeting time. She mentioned that she’ll be able to meet me early as most of the colleagues had left. We arranged to meet at 550pm and it was only 615pm when we reached JE station.

Since I’m early, I suggested to drop by Lot 1 as I wanted to get something from the Yu Ren Seng. But to my surprised the shop had closed so Kat and I went for a short shopping trip before we headed home.

Sherry was not at the station waiting for me as I told MIL that I’ll be late. When I reached home, she was playing in the living room and once she saw me, she wanted to watched the VCD again. After spending some quality time with the little one, she was a little cranky and soon after washing up and feeding, she went to La La land in no time and same goes to Mummy… keke

Work & More Work!

I’ve received a call from MYS manager saying that how come we have a huge credit balance in one of the balance sheet item. We were both wondering what has gone wrong and he would conclude that he would want to write the amount into the PNL account in order to sort of clean up the balance sheet. But that is not the right way. So I told him that he can do so for the time being but we still have to reconcile the account and tidy up the books in a proper way, which means I’ve to clean up 3 years of accounting entries!

I’ve asked the lady who did the accounts previously. She said that it was possible the account had accumulated through the years. Since she is not using the system to generate the particular report, she omitted using this account and hence the amount just kept on accumulating, WHICH IS TOTALLY WRONG!

Well, what had been done cannot be undone, now just have to try my best to clean up the account before the auditors picked up the issue.

Jan is back but Careen is away…

As stated, happy to see Jan back to work which also means that she is back to chat but our dear Careen is on leave till the end of the week as her grand aunt had passed away. But it seems like all are so busy lately that we had cut down on our chat drastically. Hai… don’t know when will we be the same again… missing all...

Normal Tuesday

Today is a normal Tuesday but just minus chatting with the gals and also missing Jan… I’m still rushing my work and seem to be more busy than usual.

Around 4pm, quickly IM Kat to arrange for our meeting time. In fact, MIL wanted to go to Lot 1 to get some stuff but because, little princess was still sleeping, she call off the idea. Met Kat around 620pm and off to YT we went. But today, I had to settle my dinner outside so I’ve chose to have my dinner before I went home.

Met my little princess at the driveway and we saw one of our neighbors that is staying at the 2nd storey. She was unwell and was vomiting by the bench. We quickly went to call for her daughter but by the time, she went down, her mum was already sitting on another bench talking to another auntie. That auntie, really scared the hell out of us, and Sherry keep tapping her chest, trying to say that she is scared.

We went back and of cause, Sherry wanted to watch that particular vcd again. So put her into the play pen, switch it on and I went to have my shower. Playing for a short while, I had to coaxed her to wash up (lately, she seems to be cranky about washing up). After washing up and changing into her pajamas put her back to the playpen and went to make some milk for her. Then we settle down in the room and it was around 10pm when she finally fell asleep… (hmm… she seems to be sleeping later n later)…

Missing Jan...

Yesterday, Kat was saying that, since Jan’s hubby is off tomorrow, she may just take another day too. Who knows, this morning, around 745am, my handphone beeped. It was Jan, she is really taking the day off as she has an appointment with the skin doctor at around 1145am. And since it’s always a long wait at the clinic, she might as well take the day off.

So today is another day with Jan, hai… And we still have the thinking that she may be able to go back with us since her hubby is not reporting to the air force. Too bad, she has dashed our hope!

Quiet and Busy Monday

As the dateline of Sept closing will be very short, so didn’t have much time to chat with the gals, as I’ve to clear as much work as possible so that I’ll not be in a rush by the end of the month. *sorry ladies, chat will resume once I’ve cleared my stuff*

Time really files when there are plenty of work to rush. I was only able to meet Kat later than usual. Met her around 620pm and as usual, we yakked all the way home. We met Sherry at the MRT, carried on with a short chat, and we parted our ways.

Daddy is home for dinner and don’t know what’s wrong that little girl, she has be very cranky and also refused to sleep in the day. Wondering is it because of what we happened to came across on Saturday morning.

Jan is on Leave

*Beep*, hmmm who will msg me so early, around 8am.. It was Jan, she said that she'll be taking the day off as she reached home very late last night and had just woke up. *so shiok hor, woke up late, then take the day off*... At the same time, asked her about her hand, reminded her to to the doctor, if it's still painful, so she no need to take leave, can take a day mc instead. But she mentioned, that it seems ok now.
Anyhow, we'll miss you and hope that she can sneak in for a preview... kek... Oh yes, Kat and me are counting down the days that the power of 3 will resume... It only left 4 working days... Yippie!!

Mid Autumn Festival @ Mum’s Place

As usual, Daddy wanted to wash his second wife, so FIL send the both us to mum’s place after Sherry had her porridge. But today, I needed to go to the Hougang mall to get the Nepia diapers, so had arranged to meet the two sisters there after their karaoke session. Since I reached there first, so I went to a walk around the mall and then went to the NTUC to get what I need. After all these, we went home and both daddy and mummy were already home.

Sherry had a wonderful time, playing with her two aunties and the grandparents. All of us enjoyed her baby talk although, we do not understand much. Keke… We had curry fish head of dinner and we left around 9 plus as we need to send sister back to the NTU hostel.

It was already 10 plus coming to 11pm when I’ve finished packing up the stuff and also cleaning Sherry. She went into La La Land even without finishing her milk.

Stay at home day

Supposed to be going to my auntie’s house at Telok Blangah to let Sherry had a feel of the Lantern Festival. But I’ve no choice but to back out last minute.

Mum called me around 3 plus telling me that the rest of the family are going to dunno Telok Blangah hill or Mt Faber to carry the lantern and the most importantly, they will not be going up there. And because of Huang Na’s case, Mum told me not to join in the fun! She told me very sternly that Sherry is not allowed to go. So sorry auntie Peggy, didn’t mean to back out.

So in the end, we stayed at home, while Daddy went to attend Richard’s wedding dinner. *Congrats, Richard*… And we went to pasar malam after she had her porridge for a short shopping spree..

Both of us were in La La Land when Daddy was home around 11 plus…

Changes…

From now onwards till December, Hubby will have to work an extra hour on every Friday.

It was sort of a benefit for them as they are only required to work 2 Saturdays from now till December, and his shift will be in October and December. Due to this change, he will have to work another hour on every Friday. But he has forgotten to inform me in and I did not bring out my ez-link card, thinking that will be going back with him.

As usual, every Friday, I’ll bring back my laptop and also some documents to check. And since Hubby is not sending me back, I was thinking how to go back with the heavy load. Our dear Jan offered to come over to my office to pick me and send me home. *so nice of u dear… thanks a lot*. Met her by the side of Lau Pat Sat at around 550pm *sorry I was late, kenna kidnapped by boss* and as usual, we yakked all the way home in the car. MIL was so surprised to see me at around 620pm.. hee… after my shower, quickly have my dinner so that I can enjoy my time with that little girl.

Hubby reached home around 8 plus and by then MIL was about to go out. He played with the little girl for a short while and not long later, that little girl was about ready to go to bed. And hubby went out again around 10pm and only back around 230am… *very shiok hor*

TV Time..

This few evening, Sherry will request me to switch on one of the VCD that Jan had lent to me. She will only want to watch the same disc over n over again.

Following was the little conversation with my little girl

Me :- Honey, do u want to watch TV?
Sherry :- *point at the TV*
Me :- Okie, then you’ll have to go into the playpen.
Sherry :- *crawl to the playpen, put up her hand, asked to be carried*
Me :- So which one do you want to watch?
Sherry :- Ten
Me :- The Ten little Indian boys?
Sherry :- Nod her head

Went to switch on the VCD and once the music starts, this little girl is already dancing in her play pen.. keke

More progressive movements…

Last night, I discovered that my little girl has managed to walk a further distance. She has been progressing slow n steadily on her steps.

Last evening, I brought her down to the drive way to wait for Daddy but we did not manage to meet him and I noticed that there are lots of mosquitoes so brought her back home after a short wait. I was in the living room watching TV while that little girl walking round n rounds the ‘piano’…

Daddy came back around 9pm and she wanted to walk to the door from the living room at the same time she is also afraid to fall. She looked at me and gave me a helpless look. So I cannot bear to disappoint her, I went up to give her a helping hand. She managed to walk from the ‘piano’ all the way to the door without much help from me! That’s such an achievement! Way to go, my dear girl. Don’t worry that you’ll fall; mummy is always there for you!

Keep on going, my dear princess, one day you’ll be soaring way up high…

MIL had hurt her back!

On Monday morning, she has hurt her back when she was trying to carry Sherry into the stroller to bring her to the market. It must have hurt so badly that she was frowning and Sherry was able to sense it. That sweet little girl went to ‘sayang’ her nai nai by stroking her face when MIL was frowning. So in the night, she went to use the Osim massager to rub her back and it seems like it does not help lei. She is still painful the next morning.

On Tuesday morning, she still tries to bring Sherry to the market and also for her walk and I guess it must have been very painful for her. So I asked if she wants to go to the doctor but she refused. So since I’ve bought some tiger balm plaster from the NTUC just now, I told her I’ll help to put one for her. Hopefully she will be fine.

This morning, I asked her again, but it seems that it’s still painful lei. And luckily, my training in the evening has cancelled so I’ve told hubby that I’ll be bringing her to the doctor this evening. Hopefully, she will not say NO to me again!

Cheaper?

Is it really much cheaper to pump petrol across the causeway? Tonight may be the second time that hubby going over to JB to top up petrol. He said that it is much cheaper and he may be able to save up till $25 per trip. But I’m still no sure how he did up the sums and plus I do not want to argue with him so just let things be lah..

But I really wonder, does it really helps in saving $? If the tank is not three quarter full, he still have to top up a little in Singapore, then go over to JB. And he may be lucky that he did not need to queue in both directions.. But he was half lucky the last round, he needs to queue for a while when he is coming back… Last round, he went in at 11 plus but he was only back round 1 plus.. He said that the queue was very long..

Hmm.. Let me go n do up the sums for him again and see if there are really some savings instead of making wasteful trips there.

Should Not Have Opened!

Last evening, while I was in the room with Sherry, I heard the door bell rang. But knowing MIL will be outside so I chose to ignore it.

While I was still in the toilet with Sherry, I heard a man’s voice talking to MIL. So out of curiosity, I went out to have a peep. It was a salesman promoting about the door lock. To my surprised, she opened the gate for him to enter into my house. It was so dangerous!

So I told her after he had left that she shouldn’t have opened the gate to let such people to come in, what is he has other motive? Then her reply makes me even angrier. She said that she will not have opened the gate for him if she is alone in the house. But what can I do, even if I’m at home? Sherry is in my arms, and what if that man just rushed into the living room and got hold of the both of us, what can MIL do? I’ve told her many times to beware of these strangers. They may have all kinds of reasons to make you open the door for them. And she also mentioned that that man told her that HDB had told him to come and inspect all the locks in our area but if he is really from the HDB, we should have received a letter and we will definitely tell her about it. I’M REALLY SO ANGRY WITH HER!!

This morning, I told hubby about this and he said that MIL did mention all these to him and she also mentioned that she did not know why she opened the door. So I took the opportunity to tell him that please reminds MIL not to open the gate to strangers especially in the day. HOPEFULLY SHE LISTENS AND WILL NOT LET THIS REPEAT ITSELF AGAIN!

Sunday = Mum’s Place = Photo shoot.

FIL had sent us back to mum’s place as usual (while Daddy is home vacuuming the floor and at the same time, we just drop by Hougang Mall to pick up the two sisters.

Today is day for that sister’s photo shooting at the studio.. We had waited for about 2 months for this day.. She had asked second auntie, her hubby, XinLe and also granny too… That’s such a good girl.. at least she remembered to asked granny along..

Hubby came over around 4 plus to pick us & my parents. As for the two sisters, they went to have their hair and make up done by the usual hairstylist. So they will go to the studio via MRT..

After all the hassle, we left early with my parents as they need to go for dinner appointment. I went up to collect the fish & pork bone then go back home. We decided to have KFC for dinner so I placed an order on the way back and we managed to meet the delivery guy in the lift, just in time..

That little princess was already in La La Land and so the both of us can have a slow n nice dinner.. After settling our dinner, we brought her in the room, clean her, changed her into her pajamas and give her some milk and she fell asleep again…

Mini Gathering

At last, we managed to meet up after some many changes.

MIL must have thought that I’ve invited plenty of people. I’ve only requested for Cheng Teng, but she also cook bor bor cha cha.. *So Careen, happy like a bird liao* that was what I told MIL… Kekeke..

Jan the first to arrive with her 2 Rays and hubby, next was SL with her little girl (so cute, reminds me of Sherry when she was around that age), followed by YL with her girl (so pink), next was Irene with her Ben (so shy) and then was Careen with her butterfly & caterpillar (both of them looks so much alike, like photocopied) and the last to arrive was Kat with her Shannon..

We chatted and yakked like we had known each other for the longest time.. keke… but too bad, Jan’s Rayner was cranky so his Daddy brought him back for his nap. But of course all the mummies, reminds & chat… keke..

All of them, left around 4 plus except for SL (dun worry SL, you’ll be able to join us when your little one is older).. And the blur Kat had left her wallet on the chair in the dining room, so brought it down to her so that she can go back by bus… keke..

We had intended to go back to mum’s place but in the last minute, we’ve decided not to. Sherry had fell asleep after all of them had left and straight till 7pm.. I was busy cleaning and cooking dinner plus cooking her porridge while Daddy just needs to oversee her and he still managed to have a short nap!

But overall, I really enjoyed myself very much although, it may be a little tiring after all the cleaning up… keke…

Friday = On Leave

The both of us had taken the day off as MIL need to go out to do some prayers. We had great plans for the day but it did not turn out as we wanted to.

We had planned to go for a shopping spree so we had planned to bring Felicia along since she was having her holidays. MIL had happened to finish the prayers early & at the same time, she also received a call from Felicia’s grandmother that the fishmonger had reserved some fish for her to pick up. After picking up the stuff she sends the grandmother home and that the same time, she went to pick Felicia. That saved our trip to pick her up.

When she arrived, she didn’t bring the proper shoes to go shopping, that princess came with a pair of slippers… so there goes our shopping trip… But the silly girl is very contented to spend the time with Sherry instead.

Meanwhile, MIL had bought some crabs and she had also asked BIL and his wife to come back for dinner.. So we had chilly crabs for dinner… Yummy & so so shiok… *so sorry ladies.. was not enough to go around*

BIL and his wife send Felicia back around 11pm, and that little princess of mine had already in La La Land… And there goes my one day leave, spending my time at home.. hahaha..

Home with Hubby!

Today is the first Wednesday of the month so he is allowed to go back at 530pm. Quickly IM Kat and asked if she wants to tombang our car home. But the silly girl, did know the way to meet as she is not familiar with Raffles Place. So I had to arrange to meet her at the MRT Control station and then proceed to my hubby’s office.

This is the first time going back with him after he had changed his monthly car park to Riverside Walk. Although, it’s slightly further but it is much cheaper. He managed to save about $90 per month, which is good! But hopefully, he will not spend the savings on unnecessarily things.

Since we are sending Kat home, we had decided to pop by the Econ minimart to get the big tin of Gain. But too bad, they had run out of stock so out of no choice, I had to get the 900g one. Hai..

Rush Hour Over! Yippie!

Hooray, I’ve completed my share of the Aug05 closing. Now it’s my MYS boss to start running and preparing for his management reporting.

Since, my job has completed, I’ve got the whole day to catch up with the gals since I was unable to chat much with them due to the rush for closing.

Hee hee… Do u gals miss me while I’m away.. keke..

Sad News…

Hai…. I’ve received a piece of sad news early on Monday morning.

Jan’s hubby will be away for 3 weeks reservist and he will be picking her up from her office every day. That means, Jan will not be going back with Kat and me for 3 weeks… *boo hoo hoo*.. So sad…

The power of 3 will only resume after 3 weeks… sad sadder saddest!

Jan… I’ll miss not meeting you at Door 5 at the usual MRT… :(

Walk! Yippie!

Oh yes, I nearly forgot to blog this.

Sherry has beginning to walk a couple of steps without support. MIL had let her pracitsed in the study room which has been carpeted.

She showed me a proud face when we praised her on her walking.. keke..

Wonderful.. Time really files, in no time, my little girl will be flying... keke

Sunday – MMR Jab

Little princess is already 15 mths so we have to bring her to have the MMR jab. We intended to bring her next Friday but because Dr Wong is only working in the evening shift. And since mum & dad did not have much rest yesterday, we thought of not going back today too..

Our appointment is at 1045am and we reached around 11am. First the nurse took her weight. She is now 9.95kg and 78cm tall.. keke… See my girl grow so fast… 15 months ago she was only 2.94kg and 51cm tall.. haha…

After the jab and a short assessment, we went home and put her in her sarong. She had her nap till 3pm, then she wakes up to take her chee chong fan. Let her play and walk around in the house, den let her shower but she still refused to go n have another nap.. Quickly, cook her porridge will Daddy looks after her, and fed her around 7pm… Then I asked her to take a short nap so that Mummy and Daddy can have dinner.. That little girl really understand us lei.. She fell asleep in no time and she really wakes up after we are done with our dinner.

Brought her into the room to clean her and it was around 9pm that I made another bottle of milk for her.. She managed to finish all of them.. Wonderful! Good Night n Sweet Dreams, Sweetheart!

Last Day of the Month!

Yippie.. It’s the last day of the lunar 7th month. Since mum & dad will be busy go round praying, we have decided not to go back. We wanted to go out to get some groceries but was busy with that little princess of mine.

Finally, I was able to squeeze out some time to visit Dr Fong for my Pap Smear test. Was at the clinic at around 10am, although my appointment was fixed at 945am. But I did not get to see him until around 2 hours later. So by the time, we reached home, Sherry already had her porridge.

By the time she wakes up it was already about 3pm and so we just stay at home and played with her. Not to mention, working will she was asleep lah..

Thurs & Fri – BUSY CLOSING!

As understood from my MYS manager, this month will have very tight dateline for him to close the Aug05 books which means it will be worst for me. Luckily, I’ve completed most of my accounting entries into the system but still need to rush for all the invoices. I’ve still yet to prepare any invoices as am at the mercy of others to input their time into the TA system. Hopefully, they will do them promptly.

Did get to chat much with the gals and really miss them so much! Hai… looks like will only able to do so after I’ve finish rushing my stuff…

Monday to Wednesday – Super Busy Days

Hai… the time of the month again so had been busy rushing creating the TA system, rushing for the journals and other issues so was unable to chat much with the rest. Sad!
