Sunday – Stay at home day

Nothing much happened, just that wanted to go to auntie peggy’s place but had changed our mind in the evening. So we just stayed at home and play with the little girl.

In the evening, received a call from Jan that Mei mei had fallen from the chair and was so very upset. The only thing I can console her is just tell her that it will be fine, knowing that it will not be alright for the mummy at all.. And the worst thing is my Sherry also bang her head against the corner of the table. Alamak, at the same spot… hai…

Sherry is 15 mths old today..

Today is the 27th of August and my little princess is 15 months old.

As usual, today went back to mum’s place, and as usual, FIL send us there. Pick xiao mei at the YT mrt, then proceed to Punggol to pick sister and finally, to the hougang mall. I wanted to go to the NTUC to look for Nepia diapers as I was unable to get them at CCK Lot 1, NTUC.

After getting the diapers and their lunch, we went to Popular bookshop as the two sisters want to get some stuffs. We went reached home, mum & dad are already back. Let Sherry settled down, I put her down into her sarong and she fell asleep in no time.

Today, she had chee cheong fan for dinner and she seems like, she likes it. Keke..

Would you treat your child like this?

Me :- Mum, did Felicia call today?
MIL :- Yes, she did… So many times lei..
Me :- Aiyo, she must be very lonely at home, no one to talk to her lah.
MIL :- Ya lor.. You know she has nothing to eat for lunch?
Me :- WHAT? NO LUNCH?! Where are the rest of the people at home? (Fuming mad)
MIL :- Ya lor, her ah ma went out liao mah, den dunno where is the ah gong.
Me :- She din cook before she went out meh, din know what time she is coming back?
MIL :- Dunno them lah, I heard liao so sad lei.
Me :- If they really dun wan to take care of her, I’ll go n bring her back (Still very angry!)
MIL :- She where got go hungry in our house and still have to cook her own Maggie Mee!
Me :- Ya lor… Very heart pain lei!

All parents out there, would you treat your child like this? A 10 year old girl, returns from school, no one cooks lunch for her and she has to cook her own Maggie Mee! I really pissed off with all in that household. If they really dun want to shower her with equal love they gave to her brother, I can jolly well bring her back to my home. I can say out loud that I treat her much much better than any one of the parents. She is such a lovable girl, she will help MIL to look after Sherry, at the same time, and she’ll quickly do her homework & assessment when Sherry is asleep.

It really puzzled me how can her parents treat such a lovable girl in this way. I’m really angry!
If I really have the authority to bring her back, I'll definately do so right away!

War!

Everything was so peaceful until lunch time. I’ve decided to lunch in so when my food arrived, I took it in the pantry. Some of the marketing staff came and grumble a little on the manager. She seems to be in an overly intense stage and also can snap off at any time. She had just blew her top at another manager and told everyone off that the campaign in Oct will be cancelled. But our RMD had rejected her suggestion in the previous marketing meeting.

In a short while, this temp guy who is in her team, just checked with her on some uncertain issue, this time, she really throw her temper at him. That poor guy did not even know what has happened! She said that she demand to have some respect from him and really dislike to be shouted at. At the first place, that guy did not even raise his voice at her! I think she is really too much, and so unprofessional of her to do and say such a thing. When he tried to explain to her in a nice manner, he was been shut off by her again. This time she said him to keep the comments to himself! I was really boiling hot inside but I cannot interfere as I’m not from the Marketing team. I was D*** pissed off to see her bullying that guy.

I was telling myself, no matter how angry a person is, she is still in no position to raise her voice and scream at the other person! This incident really makes me wonder what kind of mummy she is! What kind of morals will she be passing on to her kids? Her daughter is already 2 but really cannot compare to anyone of our kids in the group! I dare to say that my girl is spoilt by all my family members but hers is worst! Still dunno how to put back all the toys, she can bite and spoil 6 pacifiers in 2 or 3 days, and this mummy can still laugh about it! Another thing, does anyone believe that mummy cannot scold their own kids cos will be lectured by either brother-in-law or parents-in-law! Nonsense right! If parents cannot discipline the child then what will the child grow up to! One more thing, she is definitely not younger than me and yet she behaves like a kid! Childish!

Anyway, it seems that she had thrown the resignation letter to the RMD, we shall see what is the outcome.

Waist & Hip Ratio

I kept forgetting to take my hip measurement. This morning, Jan reminded me again.. So went to one cornor in the office to measure, but hor not accruate lei. I anyhow measure lah, scare that someone will see and wonder what is this crazy woman doing here.. kekeke...

Luckily I remember to bring the tape to the washroom and take my measurement. Emmm.. My ratio is 0.83 so what does this mean lei? Have to check with the rest liao. May be its time for me to lose so weight. But hor, no time lei, how? emmm... Time to get the OTO belt too??? Emmm...

Upset but then….

That silly hubby of my, went to bring in MIL’s pillow to Sherry room on Sunday night. I was pretty upset that he did not go with our little agreement. As I expected, Sherry woke up in the middle of the night around 5am. She took her pillow and asked MIL to bring her out to the sarong to rock. She was there till around 530am. MIL told her to go back to the room and she only went back for a little while. She came out again and that poor MIL had to sit on the chair and rock her at the same time, dozing off to sleep.

When I woke up around 7am (I woke up late), she was still rocking that Sherry as she was not sound asleep. So I took this opportunity to tell hubby the agreement again, but he said that may be it was because Sherry had fallen asleep very early on Sunday night. I was upset and pissed but luckily still managed to maintain my tone. I told him nowadays, Sherry is not easy to manage in the day we should let her have a good night rest. He kept quiet so I take it as he agreed with me.

So, when I had my dinner, I brought Sherry back to her room and asked MIL to leave the room so that I can put her to bed. After she had fallen asleep, I just move MIL’s pillows to my room and stayed in Sherry’s room refused to come out! (keke.. naughty me) I just do some stuff inside while waiting for Daddy to come back. When MIL saw her pillows in my room, she knew that she has no choice left. (Yippie… I won another battle)

Quiet Monday

Early in the morning around 8am, I’ve received a sms from Jan saying that she’ll be on urgent leave as her MIL had fallen ill. She has to be home to look after her two kids.

When I arrived in the office, quickly IM the rest as she is the earliest among all of us and her blog is like ‘breakfast’ to the most of us, keke… But she still managed to sneak in for a short chat around mid morning and also after she had shooed the kids to nap. Not long later, its time for Careen to go to the HQ and both Kat and me went for lunch (of cos separately).

After lunch, all of us were busy working and so it was so quiet throughout almost the whole afternoon. By the time I realized, it was around 4 plus, quickly arrange the time to meet Kat and carry on my work.

Left office around 545pm and had arranged to meet Kat around 610pm so there was still so time to make a slight detour to Charles & Keith. My intention was just to window shop but ended up with a pair of beige shoes. Keke… Quickly, left and went to meet Kat, but she was late.

When she arrived, as usual, we yakked and laughed the way home but of course, there is something missing and that is no Jan today. (Jan, we miss u lei). Since Sherry was downstairs waiting for me, we parted in a short while.

Sunday

Felicia will be going back today and she is a little upset about it. We can tell that she did not want to go back home, she prefer our place. We concluded that it must be because she did not have to same kind of homely feeling that she experience over here.

We did not go out so that she can spend all her time with that little girl. We left home around 4pm as her daddy wants her to be home by 6pm. When we reached the carpark, Daddy brought her up to her house, Sherry and I stayed in the car. I can tell that she did not want to go back and she will definitely miss us very much.

We went to mum’s place, as planned and Sherry had her wonderful and super delicious porridge. Mum really pampered her lei, she added 2 prawns, 1 scallop and half a slice of fish to that little bit of rice.. hai.. spoilt little girl.

She fell asleep in her sarong after a short while of playing with the rest of the family. Both daddy n mummy managed to have dinner in peace.. Keke.. Around 8 plus, I’ve received a call from Felicia, saying that she may have left the rubber band in the car and at the same time, she is crying over the phone, feel so sad lei.. I tried to console her, telling her that she’ll be coming soon, and quickly hang up so that she will not cry anymore. That silly girl hor, really miss us so much lei.. Hai..

We woke Sherry and left the house around 10pm. On the way home, she fell asleep in my arms. When we reached home, I made some milk for her and she knock off after finishing them.

Stayed at home, Saturday

Since, we’ll be sending Felicia back on Sunday so we’ve decided to go back on mum’s place on the same day.

We intended to go out but that girl did not want too, cos she wants to stay at home with her little darling Sherry. So we just went to the Cold Storage to get so groceries and also our dinner.

Both of the kids slept very early so all of us have a very early night too.

Fun Filled Friday

Today is the day for the social activity. We, the committee members had done so much planning for today. We’ll be going for 2 games of bowling plus dinner at BeBoz at Robertson Walk.

I didn’t have the chance to chat much with the kahkis as I’ve so many things to prepare for the activity. *miss u gals lei* ..

The committee members left the office around 5pm, and there are some of the colleagues which also arrived the same time as us. We carried out the game when some of them had arrived at the bowling alley.

After that game, some of them proceeded to the restaurant had started with some drinks. The party begins when the last team arrived. We had an opening speech by the RMD and followed by some makan den games.

The party ended around 10pm so I hang around till around 1015pm. Reached home around 11pm and by the time I settled down to bed was around 1130pm. All of them are fast asleep..

Angry!

I was pretty angry with my MIL! I thought we had already agreed to exchange bedrooms but she back out last night! I was D*** pissed off with her!

As usual, I was putting Sherry to bed in her bedroom, and I was thinking either, MIL will sleep in my bedroom or I’ll just bring Sherry over and let her sleep in hers as Felicia is staying over. But she refused to both my suggestion! I was really pissed off by what she said!

Me :- Where do you want to sleep in AV or my room?
Mum :- (no answer)
Me :- If not I bring Sherry over to my room, den u sleep here.
Mum :- Aiya, dun wan to disturb her lah, let her sleep lor.
Me :- Okie, then, where you want to sleep?
Mum :- You just go & sleep lah
Me :- So which room are you sleeping?
Mum :- (no answer again)
Me :- Aiyo, why you so stubborn wan! (Left the room)

I was so angry so I better left my room in order not to argue with her any more. I was so pissed off with the whole issue that I told hubby immediately when he comes out of his shower. I told him that his mum refused to let Sherry to goes to our room! So, he went to tell him mum to shift but he gave me a pissed off face too! I was angry and upset, so I just went into the room and sleep.

Spooky

MIL was telling me that she had heard someone calling out her name, but when she wanted to answer, someone or something just stopped her! Although, all these happened in her dream, but all seems so real!

Whenever, she has this issue, Sherry will not have a good night rest. She was like being disturb and will make some noise in the middle of the night. She will also come out from her cot at around dawn time to sleep on the bed. The strange thing is that she does not have this problem, when Daddy & Mummy were sharing the room with her.

During dinner, I was just casual asking MIL about the ‘dream’ again and then she said that in fact, that was not the first time it happened to her! She had been having these strange encounters ever since she was sleeping in that room and SHE DID NOT EVEN BOTHER TO TELL US! She was thinking that it was due to her luck or she was not suitable to sleep in that particular room. I think the other reason was that she did not want to frighten us! The other strange thing is that all these will not occur when she is sleeping in our master bedroom

I was very disturbed by her thinking! She should have told us truthfully so that we could have some preventive measures and not to drag the whole issue till now especially when Sherry is in her care during the night! People may think that I’m so selfish to only think about Sherry’s safety but I guess it will applies to all mummies, right? I’m also worry for her; she has not been in the pink of health. She seems to be falling sick pretty often.

After hearing all these, I suggested to hubby that we shall exchange rooms for the time being, at least for this particular month! We’ll have to come out with another solution in time to come. Hopefully, all these will turn out to be alright! *pray hard*....

While we were looking into the mirror combing her hair, being naughty mummy, I asked Sherry, who am I? Kekeke… To my surprised, she said Mama… kekee.. I was so happy that I kept on repeating the question!

Haha… My little princess is calling me when I asked her.. hee hee… Mama, Mama

Busy Again!

First thing in the morning, I’ve got to rush out the amended report that was supposed to submit to the customer on the 10th of every month. So quickly set my status to ‘busy’ and IM Jan that I’ll be MIA for at least the whole morning.

I managed to complete the amendments by 10 plus, so IM one of them to add me into the chat. Kekeke. There it goes again, our chat session begins. I was chatting and rushing some invoices for another consultants as he needs them by 2pm as he needs to bring down to the customer.

After lunch, was thinking that will be able to chat freely with the khakis but turned out that I’ve to rush another urgent invoice! Upon completion, was been kidnapped to attend the social activity meeting. There are still so many tiny bits n pieces here and there to discuss on.

It was already 5 plus when we end the meeting, received a call from Jan to confirm on the time. Luckily I’m still able to leave on time and was slightly early to meet Kat, so Jan and I had a short window shopping.

Sherry had not been to the MRT for 2 days, I kinda of missing her there. May be I’ll be seeing her tomorrow. Let’s see how lah…

Disappointed Mummy!

I’ve planned to change rooms with my MIL so that we can sleep with our darling princess but my plan got back fired! My hubby did not want that, I think he is very comfortable with the present arrangement of only sleeping with Sherry over the weekends.

Sherry has been sharing the same room with MIL and in fact I’m quite against this idea. I was thinking of taking care of her in the night so that MIL will have a good night rest but she did not want to let go. I’ve been thinking of ways & means to change this but always have failed!

Looks like either I’ve to work doubly hard to come out with some very concrete reasons or I’ll have to give up the whole idea, which I really do not want that! Any help from anyone?? Help!!!

For the first time!

MIL had reminded me that she had to go for the 7th month dinner at Shun Fu which means I have to try to be home early. Told the khakis about this and it’s so nice of them (Jan & Kat) to try n accommodate me. *thanks dearies, I'm so touched!*

We’ve arranged to meet around the same time and at the same place but with an extra person, n that’s Careen. But I was late cause I was been kidnapped to have a short discussion on the social activity and also the amendments to some invoices. Jan & Careen had arranged to meet at Orchard as Jan will be passing her the pregnancy kit and she is also taking the west bound train to Commonwealth. *so sorry to make u gals wait for me, Sorry sorry!*

Even though I was late, we were still early to meet Kat, but I know she had tried her best to be there on time! *thanks dear!*. So as usual, we yakked and joked like we were kids! We laughed so hard which left Careen laughing to herself even though she has alighted from the train!!

We reached YT in no time and we parted after I had topped up the ez-link card. Sherry was playing in the room and she was talking n arguing to MIL in her own language. Kekeke.. so cute.. Quickly had my bath and cut a kiwi for Sherry to eat while I’m having my dinner. That girl really knows the situation lei, she was willing to sit in the high chair, on other days, and she will definitely make so much noise so that MIL will release her from the misery. Dunno if I should say that she is loveable or naughty.

Strange?? Part 3

It was around 2am when I heard Sherry’s cries. She was crying so hard n loud, so I quickly dash out of the room to see what’s wrong with her.

MIL thought that she wanted some water so brought her to the kitchen, but she just kept on crying with her eyes almost closed! I went to carry her and ask her to sleep in her room, but she refused. So gave her the pacifier and brought her to the sarong. I’ve decided to bring her to room but she refused to let MIL carry so I brought her in, gave her a little pat and she fell asleep in no time. So I also went back to my room.

When I just lied down, I heard her again. Quickly went out to see and MIL asked me to go to bed, she can handle, which means she will have to sleep on the sofa if Sherry refused to go back to her room. Then, I told Sherry to go and sleep with Mummy and Daddy in the room and she is fine with it. So I brought her to my room and she fell asleep in no time too. Since she was so soundly asleep, we decided not to disturb her and let her sleep with us.

So, what’s the moral of the story? She wants to sleep with me in the night, so does it means that MIL has no choice but to let her go in the night? Emmm…

Sunday

Felicia wants to have Macs breakfast so MIL brought her there but she wanted to buy back in order to spend more time with her Sherry so we all had Macs breakfast too.

I’ve also received samples of Fm from Dumex and also Nestle. I’ve let her tried on the Dumex and she doesn’t seem to like it and when I mix the Gain with the cereal, she managed to finish almost all of them. Looks like I’ll have to stick to Gain IQ then.

We stayed at home till around 4 plus, we’ll be sending Felicia home since we are going to mum’s place for dinner. Sherry was a little upset when she sees her ‘jie jie’ alighted from the car. She makes some noise and I’ll have to distract her with her flashcards.

When we reached mum’s place, it was already 6 plus, I’ve asked mum to cook porridge for that little girl. She played with her grandparents and she really bring joy to wherever she is lei.. kee kee… my happy baby..

We left around 9pm cos she wants to sleep liao, we thought that she would want to sleep on the way back but she didn’t. I made a bottle of 150ml of milk with cereal and she finished all of them. And after changing into pajamas, soon, she was in La La land.

Surprised Visit!

Early in the morning, I received a call from Felicia that she will be coming over because she misses Sherry badly.

She asked Papa to pick her from her place but Papa was working so she arranged for her Daddy to send her to my place. We were not going to my mum’s place today so we were at home waiting for that ‘jie jie’ to arrive.

Felicia reached my place around 4pm and she will be staying for the night. She even refused to go out for dinner, the reason being that she doesn’t us to spend unnecessary money and also she wants to spend all her time with her darling Sherry.

We just stayed home and let the two kids to keep each other company. We can really tell that Sherry really enjoyed Felicia’s company very much. And of cause, tonight, she wants to sleep with her darling Sherry.

Emm… is this a time to have another child??

Dinner Appointment.

In the end, we still have to go for the dinner appointment at the Punggol Plaza. I was planning to give this a miss since Sherry has been behaving very strangely and also it’s this particular month. But Daddy wanted us to go so no choice lor.

Meet him at the usual place at around 630pm, and went for a short n brief walk around while waiting for Roy, his cousin who will be meeting us at 7pm. After he arrived, we left of the dinner place. We reached there around 730pm but MIL and Sherry had just left home. After the dinner, we still went to ‘that’ house to have the birthday cake and we left around 1030pm.

As usual, Sherry was so tired that she slept on the way home and we had also decided to skip her night feed in order not to disturb her sleep.

Disturbed!

I’m still feeling very disturbed by what had happened to my little princess. How come lei? Why is she like this? Should I seek advice from Shi Fu, but I also don’t know when is he coming here? How??? I know I shouldn’t be grumbling and nagging about this but I’m unable to get this out of my mind. I’m really very worried lei. But when I called home just now, she seems alright in the day. Then, how come like this in the night?? She wasn’t having very long nap in the day, in fact, she sleeps very little in the day. So by right, she should be sleeping very soundly in the night. Emm… where and who else can I turn to??

Strange Again!

It’s so strange again. Sherry slept around 9pm last night and she woke up in the middle of the night again. That was around 12 plus. She came out of her cot and sleep on the bed with MIL. And she had been like this throughout the night lei. Don’t know what’s wrong with her lei.. She has been drinking very little milk and also not having a peaceful night sleep. This is very unusual; she has not been like this before besides the other time lah.

Really scratching my head, is it the fall? Is it the FM? Should I change the FM? What is she so ‘sensitive’ to? Could it be that she had seen something unusual last night? She was like playing with I dunno what outside the window. I’ve told Daddy about what happen this morning, he told me it could be just that she is curious about the lights at the opposite blocks or its just the reflections on our window panel. I really dunno!

Can really someone tell me what’s wrong with my little princess? Hai…

Still did not get to see Him!

Left office at around 1130am for my 12pm appointment with the gynae, hopped onto a cab and managed to reached there on time. But the nurses told me that he had just come back from the labour ward and all the appointments all jammed! He had not even seen those people that had been there at 10am. Alamak..

Waited for awhile, another call from the ward, he has to go again. The nurse told since I’m rushing for time, it’ll be better for me to change my appointment. This will be the second time changing the appointment liao lei. Hai.. no choice lah, who ask my gynae is such a busy n well know doctor…kekke..

Told hubby that I’ve changed the appointment again and quickly call Jan to see if she wants to have lunch with me. Took a bus to the Thai Embassy to meet her, we went to Lucky Plaza to have lunch and went to a shop that sells very cheap clothes and bought myself 2 pair of shorts for home wear.

After the short shopping trip, it was already 145pm so we parted and I went to take a cab back to the office.

Guilty..

It’s very usual to receive mail from my hubby during office hours, so was very surprised to see a mail from him.

This is how it goes..

Hubby :- Sigh.. That horror moment still come into my mind on and off… so sad…

Me :- What happened? The fall? Alamak, dun be upset liao lah. It already happened..

Hubby :- i try not to think about it but dunno why will auto think about it leh..

Me :- Try lor, she’s alright mah, dun worry too much lah..

We had a talk last night, about the whole incident. After hearing what he said, it’s really scary lei, cannot imagine if I’m the one to see her dive to the floor from the bed and somersaulted. The thought of the fall is frightening dun even dare to witness it.

I think Daddy really very very upset and angry with himself about the fall.. He is really blaming himself and I do not how to comfort him..

Any one with a better solution or suggestion?

Back to Work

After the super long break, it’s really feeling kind of lazy to come back to work. But as chatting with the khakis is the main motivation to come to work, I still came to work in a very happy mood…

I’m feeling very tired and really miss my Sherry very badly while I was at work. Really miss her ‘mama’ and her everything. But I kept telling myself that this week will be a very short week and it’ll be Friday in no time.

At last, the power of 3 resumed. First meet Jan at Raffles Guardian as she wanted to check out if they are selling the PK diapers. Later around 6pm we took the train to Outram to meet Kat but on the way there, received a massage that she’ll be late as she was also checking out the PK diapers for Jan.

Sherry was not at the MRT station today, cos she had woke up late and had her porridge pretty late too. So I went home without her and had my shower before going down to drop off point to look for her…

Emm.. Seeing her really makes me miss her even more…

Last day of the Long weekend = Brother-in-law’s house

Yesterday, received a call from his brother, he had invited all of us to his house for a gathering.

So we stayed home so that Sherry can have her nap before we go off to his house in the evening. But that little girl, refused to take her nap. So no choice lah, we just let her be. Got to know from Felicia that all of them are also going, so instead of a small gathering it’s a big scale gathering with everyone from his side…

We left home around 630pm to BIL’s place, and we are the first ones to reach there. He had not tied up his dogs so both Sherry and I stay outside the house. When we were inside, FIL told me not to let her down to crawl cos there are lots of dog’s fur in the house which is something that I did not even think off… kekkee

We had BBQ and seafood spaghetti for dinner. Sherry had enjoyed ‘talking’ to the two dogs with a glass door separating them. She does not want them to come close to her. That little girl hor, so cute.. She will ask the dogs to wake up when they are lying down or ask them to come here… hahha so interesting to hear her talk to them… kekeke

We left the house around 9 plus and send Uncle Dennis home.. Sherry was so tired that she dozed off while we are still on the way to Uncle’s place. She did not even know that I had changed her clothes when we reached home… She must be in La La land long ago liao..

After spending so many days with her, I’ll definitely miss my little princess when I’m back to work.. emmm… Mummy Misses U, My Sweetie Pie..

3rd day = Supposed to be ....

Both of us are on leave to spend more time with Sherry. Supposed to go for my pap smear test today but she was having her morning nap and had not taken her porridge. So call the clinic to change my appointment to the afternoon.

While I was cooking the porridge, Sherry fell from the bed again.. This time Daddy was looking after her but she was too fast and he missed to ‘catch’ her from falling down. And again she has the big ‘bao’ at the same spot! I can tell that Daddy is so heart pain seeing his princess felling off the bed so I did not reprimanded him.. Just keep trying to pacify that crying baby.. Mummy also heart pain lei.. Hai..

After her lunch, we went to Causeway point to pick up his Nokia phone that had been sent for servicing. And I’ve received a msg from Kat saying that Metro is having 20% discount storewide. So I went to buy the training cup, new Pigeon baby wipes and also Pigeon baby foundation.

When we left the mall, it was already 3 plus, quickly call the clinic to reschedule it to Thursday at 12pm, thinking that since my RFC is on leave, guess taking a hour or 2 time off, shouldn’t be a problem lah.. kekeke
We’re are home in no time and we just spend the evening play and reading that girl.. Now’s around 1130pm and that little girl has been long in La La Land with daddy while Mummy is here rushing out the report to be submitted on Wednesday and writing my blog.. Luckily I’ve complete the main bulk and now going to bed.. Good Night… :)

2nd day = Ah ma’s Place

Today will be going to ah ma’s house for the yearly prayers session. We left home after Sherry had taken her porridge and we were early this year.

Both Daddy and Mummy have to take turns to look after that little girl as the place is so spacious for that little girl to explore. When its Daddy’s turn to look after her, I’ll sneak up to the 2nd storey to yak with the aunties. kekeke…

The best thing is that she managed to sleep without her sarong for the first time. Guess it must have been all the crawl up and down the little steps that tired her out.. So daddy also had a short nap while looking after her and mummy continue her yakking with the aunties.

We wanted to leave early but that little girl refused to go, so we left after dinner around 9pm…. She is really the star of the day.. Happy Sherry = Happy Relatives = Happy Mummy & Daddy..

1st day of the Long weekend = Mum’s place

As usual, FIL sent us back to Hougang as Hubby has gone for his bowling competition. But instead of going home, we went to meet Pin at the Mall, shopped a little and then we took a cab back..

When we are home, both mum & dad played a little while with her and then they all went have their nap, including Sherry. That little girl slept from 3pm to around 6pm and luckily mummy had a short nap after playing a few rounds of mahjong game.. kekeke..

Since, today is the 2nd day of ‘THE’ month, we try not to go back too late. So we went home after our dinner, that is around 8 plus 9pm..

Home w/o the rest

TGIF!! Supposed to have a meeting with the social committee members but was busy with the BS reporting and Jul 2005 invoices so it was called off..

Was quite busy throughout the day and around late afternoon, got to know that Jan had to meet her hubby at Lot 1 so today will be the day going home without the 2 of them… Hai.. The journey home will never be the same again..

Moreover, all the 3 of us will be on leave on this coming Monday and Tuesday is public holiday which means we’ll only go back on Wednesday.. Sad… And the sadder thing is missing the daliy weekday chatting session with the kahkis... OH LADIES... MISS U ALL LEI...

Busy Busy Busy

Looks like my super long weekend will be burnt.

I’ve got the news from the Regional Consulting Manager that the BS project guy will be in the office on Wednesday to view the report. This means that I’ll have to prepare the report over the weekend and also on Monday. So sad!!

But the only piece of comforting news is that my MYS manager will be preparing the worksheet in the same format as requested by the clients. It really saved me so much trouble of running the TA system again and also to calculate all the billable expenses claims. My job will be just to cut and paste into the original report and that’s it… Now the only concern is to get more information from the Australia counterparts in order of us to continue with the work and they are not co-operative lei… Guess it’s because they do not want to do duplicate work. Hai… but do they know that that was what the our consultants had done for the longest time to facilitate them..

The other thing that I’m please is that they did not ask me cancel my leave on Monday and of cause may be I’ve suggested that I’ll be doing it from home… (but if it’s in the other office, they will surely cancel my leave wan..)…

Strange..

It has been 3 night in a row that Sherry wakes up in the middle of night. The time ranges from 3am to 6am and it happened again last night. She wakes up at 3am to play n refused MIL to sleep too… But the only thing that is comforting is that she did not wake the rest of us up.

This is very unlikely of her to be behaved in this way. Usually, she will have a good night sleep and it will be throughout the night. All these only happened after we went to Felicia’s house. So MIL concluded that Sherry may be ‘sensitive’ and ‘not suitable’ for that house lei. So it struck me, then, Chinese New Year how? We definitely have to go there wan lei… Hai…

I’m really very puzzled, so how? What can I do? She has also been not behaving like herself at certain of the day. I really dunno what to do lei.. Can someone teach me and tell me what happen and any solution to this?

Hai… Poor MIL she already has no proper meal times and now worst, disrupted sleep…

Wonderful!!!

Received a call from MYS, and my manager told me a piece of wonderful news. The dateline for the July 05 closing has been deferred to 22nd July instead of the normal. This is due to the summer holidays in Europe!!

Quickly IM the khakis about this wonderful news and all of them are so happy for me! Kekeke.. But I’ll try to finalize all the things around the end of the week so that I have more time to chat and to do other things at my own pace. The only disadvantage will be the dateline for Aug05 will be very tight again, but at least I’ll have a breather lah…kekkee

The other piece of news is that my Controller will be going on a 3 weeks leave, and my MYS manager will also be going on 1 week leave.. Yippie!!

Sam's Household Sick!

Received a sms from Jan, the message is as follows :-

Jan :- Wei, whole family sick. taking mc 2 stay home. haiz.

Me :- Oh dear. Wat happened? Flu Bug?

Jan :- The kids are running nose and cough, me and ah lao also same lor plus major body ache.

Me :- Alamak, okie lah, go n rest and take good care of yourself.

Hai.. poor gal... whole household is sick! Flu bugs are flying around!

Everyone, better take good care of yourselves!!

Surprise!

Early in the morning around 9 plus was surprised to see Kat’s IM. Emmm.. Isn’t she supposed to be on leave, how come she is in the office so early? Hahaha… forgot that she is able to log on from home, and she had been chatting with Jan since 830am.. kekkeek..

We chatted for awhile, both Careen & YL are busy and so am I, but I’m still able to sneak in although it’s the beginning of the month which is supposed to be my busiest time of the month. Told the gals that I’ll be on leave on the 8th August, and so happened that Jan and Kat are also on leave that day, that means only left with Irene, YL & Careen… Hopefully, they can all take leave on that day!

Later the day, Jan told me that she’ll be meeting her hubby at Lot 1 which means she’ll be taking bus instead. So we’ll have to go back separately.. hai.. so sad! Massaged the both of them when I reached the usual spot, to my surprised, Kat asked if I’m able to wait for her. She is at her office and will need around 10 mins to meet me… Yippie!! I’m still able to meet Kat even though she is on leave and the best thing is that Shannon is with her too!!! Kekeekke..

Met Kat and Shannon at Outram and the both of us, yakked all the way home… kekekke… But Sherry was already home when I reached the station. Quickly settled down, have my dinner and went to play with her. I only managed to start working when that little girl has gone to bed!

Shopping Day but not my $$$...

MIL insisted that my hubby to send her to IMM to shop for fridge. She even cancelled her weekly session! So out of no choice, he had to bring her out.

But in the end, we decided to go to Causeway Point so that besides shopping for the fridge, he can also shop for his working shoes. When we reached, the first stop was to Courts and they went to take a look at all the fridges, while I looked at the cooking hob. Since she had been complaining about the hob, and we both think that its time for us to get a new one… I managed to one that is suitable and so went to ask MIL to look at it. Straight away, she likes it and decided to buy it without much consideration. After trading in the old one, we only paid $280 and the other freebies will be having a free cylinder of gas and also a gas nozzle free. We feel that its quite worthwhile and all in all, we think we’ll save around $100… The most important thing is that, MIL is happy..

The next stop will be Metro, browsing for Daddy’s shoes but none of them caught his eye, this means, more shopping trip for us…kekeke.. Yippie!! After leaving Metro, we went to the Nokia shop as he wanted to send his phone for a ‘checkup’, it just auto shut down or re-start and since it’s still under warranty. Since he is queuing, we went to CS to shop for some groceries, and later, he met us there.
After all these, we decided to go back since, Sherry has been a little cranky as she has missed her nap.. She fell asleep on the way home… kekkee… so cutie pie… kekeke..
