After sending her to Tumble Tots for about 3 months, MIL & I think that she is ready for the playgroup again. She had suggested that we should give another shoot but Hubby had his concern.
Anyhow, I had made enquries with regards to Tumble Tots Playgroup which they call Right Start. It will be daily sessions and the program seems quite interesting. The lesson plan looks something like this and I guess she might enjoy as there are more things to learn and do instead of just scooping the macaroni and playing with water and no interaction with others.
11.00-11.15 Assembly/Free Play
11.15-11.30 Circle time/Hello Song/Songs & Rhymes
11.30-12.00 Maths(Mon)/Letterland(Tues)/Literatur(Wed)/Letterland(Thur)/Math(Fri)
12.00-12.15 Snack Time
12.15-12.45 Physical Play(Mon to Wed) / Mandarin (Thurs & Fri)
12.45-13.00 Closing/Songs & Good Bye
I really hope that she is ready but in any case that she is not, we can transfer her back to the weekend program again. And the cycle starts again.
This time, even though, Hubby has his concern, we had come to a conclusion to send her and let her try again. The class will begin on the 26 June 2006. Everyone pray hard for me alright… Thanks…

Hi, when do your reckon is a good age to send our babies to playgroup? Me and a friend have been thinking of doing so when they are 1.5 - 2 years.
Hi, I had tried sending her when she was abt 18 mths, but it didn't work out well and she got frightened to go to school. So now will be the second try and hope it all turns out fine. Personally, if u are thinking of sending, pls go for 5 days a week and 2 yrs old should be a better age.
