We had decided to let her had this jab but the only problem is when. It was a last minute decision to let her have it today. So I’ve called Raffles Hospital to make an appointment on Sunday since Dr Thomas Wong is duty.
We leave the house around 11 plus after I’m also done with her porridge, just need to add in the fish when we are back. She fell asleep while we were almost there; we woke her up when we arrived at the hospital. She was the next one when we arrived. She starts to walk around and play with the toys that are in the corner.
Before it was our turn, the nurse took her weight and height, now she weighs 10.2kg and is 81cm tall. In no time, it’s our turn, Dr Wong started off by mixing the solution and then a short assessment of Sherry and then the jab is ready. She is such a sweetie, she just make a little cry and was easily clamed down with some distraction of the toys. When she had clamed down, I gave her some water. Before we left the room, she even waved good bye to Dr Wong and then off she goes walking again.
This time, she did not fall asleep; it was mummy that fell asleep on the way back. When we reached home, the porridge is ready. Quickly let her settled down, then feed her porridge and let her have her nap.
She had an almost 3 hours nap. She seems alright when she wakes up, but this KS mummy keeps observing if she is running a fever. When I try to take her temperature, she thought that it’s so fun and keep asking me to take a few more times for her. *my silly girl*.
In the evening, she was playing with MIL while the both of us have our dinner. Out of the blue, I heard her cries. This girl had a knock on her head when she was trying to get up on her feet. She may have a bad knock that she is wailing so badly. I had a hard time pacifying her and of cos it was also because MIL keeps on wanting to carry her. I asked hubby to ask her to go away, while I try to pacify her again. In the end, I brought her down for a short walk. She is back on her feet in no time and MIL keeps blaming herself that she did not take good care of Sherry. She was almost at the brink of crying again. Luckily I brought Sherry away from her. There’s a blue black at the same spot again. Hai..
Quickly settle her for her bedtime. She fell in asleep in no time. At the same time, MIL still feeling guilty and she even wanted to sleep with Sherry and I just turn her down flatly. Both mummy & daddy also fell asleep in no time..
